You’ve got to work out the surface area of the interior and exterior of the egg and then extract the volumetric square footage in metric imperial flombles.
The difficulty my aunt had when writing down my nan’s recipes is that, in a lot of cases, she had the measurements in her head. So, there was a lot of guess work and estimation.
My guess was always that it would be half of an eggshell, previously used, twice. So, maybe it would technically be 1 egg worth of water. Never really considered that before…

It was actually a black and white stone carving. We had to do a pencil rubbing, imprinted that on another piece of paper and sent it off to be digitally enhanced and then printed in the colour you see before you.

No problems! If you end up making them, let me know :)

Fair enough. There’s a video I watched by Mythical Kitchen not too long ago and they go through the different techniques used when making spaghetti and meatballs. I think they went for a sear type thing, but mostly because cooking it in the sauce for so long made the meatball really soft and fall apart easily and they preferred a tougher meatball. I don’t really remember though, so don’t take my word for it. Was an interesting watch regardless.
I have nostalgia tied with that way of making meatballs. So, it may not be the best way to cook them, but they’re still delicious and reminds me of my nan.

Sure! As requested
It says to roll into small balls, but small could be anything depending on context.

My nan got a recipe from this Italian lady, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. The recipe says to cook the sauce for one hour and then you add the meatballs and cook them for 1.5 hrs.

Thanks! I had something similar with a different wallpaper and kind of stuck with the idea.

I can see where you’re coming from and I agree at times it feels like it’s being used for the marketing since it’s easier to say, using the article as an example, “Bullfrog-like”. They could have taken an extra moment to be a bit more descriptive, such as with your example, and say “Management Sim inspired by Theme Hospital/Bullfrog”, for people who may not be familiar with “Theme Hospital” or a Bullfrog game.
Just to circle back to your initial comment, “I got to the word “Bullfroglike” and stopped reading”, I can definitely see where you are coming from, but I did disagree with your approach.
I also just wanted to add that I hope this isn’t taken as an attack upon yourself.
I do like the alliteration for “Boomer Shooter” but I don’t think it’s the right demographic xD. I think it’s still somewhat common, but I also don’t think it’s as mainstream as say your Battlefield or CoD.
RetroSlayer FPS? I have no idea, lol

I do take your point and it’s a fair criticism. It can almost feel like a marketing ploy to piggyback off of the popularity of another game, such as Stardew Valley-like, considering a lot of the time those games have since developed a genre, like for FPS instead of Doom-like.
I would also add, though, that using Doom-like/Doom-lite would still be appropriate to define games that are closer to a Doom type game than your CoD or Counter Strike. You could make a similar argument for the style of play Stardew Valley offers compared to literally Farming Simulator 20XX.
But you could also argue it gives the reader/consumer a quicker understanding of what to expect from the game. Especially in the case of this article where there isn’t a way to clearly define/ label what to excpet from the game.

This was my thought process as well.
I did consider whether making good art could help fund other global issues, but I think there’s too many variables. Whereas being able to make it rain would have an arguably more immediate impact.
Can we also control when to turn it off? xD
