Honestly it’s not the worst idea in a country surrounded by water and baked by the sun. Just build shitloads of solar farms and power it that way. Probably better than sucking some deep aquifers dry.

The rover only has environmental testing to go through and is otherwise ready. So since they are launching the rocket anyway, just use the rover without testing instead of a mass simulator. What’s the worst that could happen?
