  Linux kernel doesn’t include a spell checking dictionary soooooo Linux doesn’t worry about whether things are words. Your particular spellchecker doesn’t seem to think linux is a word but “aspells dict on my machine doesn’t consider linux a word” sounds a lot dumber (because it is pretty dumb)

  Forcing someone to use a different form of media to get acceptable support for your product is pretty bullshit. If I can sign up for, pay for, and use your product for years without a telephone, I shouldn’t suddenly be forced to use a phone to get support.

  Even if that might be the best solution at this point, it’s still garbage and something to justifiably complain about, especially considering it’s mildly infuriating we’re talking about.

  There’s a huge part of it that is because there’s no communication mechanism to resolve conflict on the road, really.

  If you’re stuck behind someone going slower than you want to, how can you clearly communicate that?

  Even in a world where you could clearly speak to them, there’s huge potential for disagreement there, and since the only communication mechanisms can very easily be construed as needlessly dangerous or aggressive, of course you’re gonna see frustration and anger as a result

  Calling it radiation gives the layman an implication that it’s dangerous i.e. ionizing radiation. This is electromagnetic radiation, just radio waves.

  You don’t need iodine, this isn’t going to give you radiation sickness, but it is a little surprising.

  For future proofing it can be worthwhile to get a pcie4 drive for a pcie3 machine.

  That said, even if you have a pcie4 machine it may not be worth it to bother with pcie4 storage. I was annoyed about loading times with baldurs gate 3 and decided to try installing it to a RAM disk (yes, using 130GB of RAM)… Barely loaded any faster. Turns out the main bottleneck is elsewhere and my storage was not the issue
