- Comment on It's 54 degrees Fahrenheit (12 Celsius), raining moderately hard, the rain is cold, and there's a guy blowing around wet leaves with a leaf blower. What the hell is the obsession with leaf blowers? 2 weeks ago:
Are you in IL? I just saw my neighbor doing that, but he has dementia. I think there are to many people who want a manicured lawn. Personally I don’t see why so many people like that.
- Comment on What a bargain 3 weeks ago:

- Comment on That lawsuit against Steam’s 30% cut of game sales is now a class action, meaning many other developers could benefit 4 weeks ago:
Let be serious. If they suddenly switched to 15%, the games are going to be the same price. And the developers are not required to use them either. This is windows. Just take their ball to any of the other stores or start their own.

I don’t like it either.
- Comment on The page for Assetto Corsa EVO is now live on Steam 5 months ago:
Well ACC works on linux, including VR, using proton. This probably will to unless it is using some form of broken copy protection.
- Comment on Steam owner Valve accused of ripping off 14m UK gamers 6 months ago:
That is my understanding. Additionally I have seen no evidence that it is actually enforced either. You could get Ghost of Tsushima for $59.99 on steam and for like $51.xx on another site using keys. Same happened with forbidden west.
- Comment on What is that sound effect in the House M.D theme music? 7 months ago:
Honestly it just sounds like they are using a LOT of reverb on it to me.
- Comment on Have you ever seen coal in real life? 8 months ago:
In the US I have had similar experiences walking along tracks, though the trains were just transporting the coal and they used diesel engines.
- Comment on Orange Pi Neo Linux gaming handheld starts at $499 with Ryzen 7840U, Ryzen 8840U at $599 9 months ago:
Most of the handheld benchmarks have been 3% or 4% higher compared to the Steamdeck at 15 watts, which often is a 1 to 4 FPS difference. This would explain why Valve isn’t in a hurry for a Steamdeck 2. If you plan of playing on battery, then that is what you’ll probably running around that if you plan on playing a while. The main advantage of these newer chips is when used plugged in.
- Comment on Power-mad modder puts Sonic the Hedgehog at the heart of the most tedious game ever made, so you can speed boost to the end in 3 straight hours instead of 8. 9 months ago:
Give me a cannonball run that has real roads and realistic speed and traffic
- Comment on Why do I get light-headed when watching TV shows or movies? 9 months ago:
Another option is seizures from strobing lights. See a doctor.
- Comment on Can't play an EA game via geforce now 11 months ago:
IDK, I’ve heard that MSFS can get pretty big once you start installing everything plus the cached imagery. Relatively quickly I found a post from someone that was using over 700GB and I assume that doesn’t include the dynamic cached map/scenery.

Did you happen to run it with different versions of proton? Each version would possibly be identified as a different “system”.
- Comment on Half-Life 2 RTX, An RTX Remix Project - Announce Trailer 1 year ago:
I hope they do the episodes as well.
