- Comment on Google admits Spotify pays no Play Store fees because of a secret deal 1 year ago:
Because that means some developers are being arbitrarily charged at 30% fee basically. In Google has iterated over and over again that they don’t really want to negotiate it yet. For some reason they were willing to make a secret deal with Spotify?
- Comment on Paypal won't let me remove by Debit card 1 year ago:
Bugs happen man. Software and technology is not perfect. Sometimes it requires human intervention like customer support. I understand. It’s frustrating that they have business hours. But would you rather deal with some random dude who can’t actually do anything for you because they’re so limited? Cuz that’s what a lot of 24-hour customer service lines are. It Is just some person who is just there to placate you and escalate your problem to someone who can actually do something about it. Or would you rather just wait?
- Comment on Paypal won't let me remove by Debit card 1 year ago:
I mean yeah I guess a bug is clearly mildly infuriating. But it’s also a bug. And the way your title is phrased, it’s like PayPal is intentionally preventing you from removing your card. Which it doesn’t seem to be pointing to here. Like I could imagine if they don’t want to let you have no cards on your account without completely closing the account. But the message would say something like that. Like "you’re required to have at least one valid card on your account. " The message isn’t just going to say something went wrong. That’s just telling you that a bug happened and you may need to contact customer support to resolve it.

- Comment on How did Android's update support become so inconsistent? 1 year ago:
Cause the brand of the phone decides how long it stays updated even if its running stock android. So lets say the average life of a Samsung is two - four years why support it longer when you can let it fall outta support to further create a need to upgrade.
Lots of roms let you run really modern android on old phones cause they put in the work. But a company turning a profit does really have a need to support phones for a long time.

- Comment on Was Disney's Fox purchase a huge waste of money? 1 year ago:
The rights they acquired through this purchase are easily worth that money alone. An investment does not have to immediately make a return. They acquired the rights to decades upon decades of films TV shows TV channels. I don’t even think you understand the scale of how much they got in that deal. And there is plenty other things that they are working on that they are getting returns from. Just because you don’t see it on the surface doesn’t mean it ain’t happening. God damn it aint hard. You’re looking at a super tiny sample size with just superhero movies being the hinge case for why they did it. They got so much more than I think you realize.
- Comment on Was Disney's Fox purchase a huge waste of money? 1 year ago:
Because it all makes money and audiences are easily manipulated. Tbh it seems like you just have a chip on your shoulder that no rational explanation for what 20th century is doing under disney will explain or satisfy. So imma be done with this cause you are objectively wrong. And Disney buying 20th century was worth it for the simple fact of less competition and the superhero properties they gained back. They really don’t need shit else to make it worth it given how much money they make on cinema as is .
- Comment on Was Disney's Fox purchase a huge waste of money? 1 year ago:
Do you have any idea how long it takes to write and produce and shoot new movies? Thats a lot of movies coming or in development for a studio. Also given that superhero movies are some of the most valuable properties in the world right now. That absolutely makes sense for just the X-Men. And they’re just slowly introducing them to the universe. It’s called story building. They also got along the X-Men from Fox basically having complete rights to all their characters now besides a few universal studios rights and Sony’s film rights.
