The strongest indicator that shoes will work for you, according to the research is… Do they feel good? I’d suggest going to a running store and trying on different brands and jogging around the store. Once you find a confy pair, you probably chose well.

That was my immediate thought. This is obviously the output of an LLM.

All the people saying “yes” are incorrect. Running on pavement and running on trails exert different strains on the body, but not less. The tendency in road runners is to end up with tibial stress fractions, and in trail runners it is metatarsal stress fractures, but the injury rates are similar. Trail running requires stronger stabilizer muscles (primarily gluteus medius) to maintain knee health in the long term, but this is a problem for both as well.
Use good shoes, strength train your gluteus medius and calves, do most of your miles at an easy pace, and you’ll be running for decades.
(My credentials are that i am an ultramarathoner and have run half a dozen races between 26.2 and 50 miles, in pavement and trail, and i have been coached by a professional ultra runner for several seasons.)

I only want gay sex in media. Straight sex makes me uncomfortable.
- Comment on Should I just quit urban and social life for a rural and lonely life? 1 year ago:
No, you should not. Read about Ted Kaczynski. We’re naturally social creatures. Isolation is very very bad for our mental health. If you’re feeling misanthropic now, it will get worse when you’re not around people.
It might be good for you to take a sabbatical and hike one of the triple crown trails. But the important part is to not isolate yourself completely.

It’s about liking big buildings in this case.

Like i said, I’m not going back to the office, and my part of the company is openly defiant about it. Most of us are independently wealthy and they know we can just walk.

When do we just start calling out that it’s about their commercial real estate holdings? I’m an engineer at a large fortune 500, and while my part of the company has made it very clear to leadership that we are going to remain remote, they made this whole huge deal about RTO for the rest of the company. They said it was about culture, but it’s very obviously about real estate. The CEO is very ego driven and likes his big buildings. I was really hoping someone would have the balls to call him on that in one of the many comical public meetings they had about RTO.

I go to the gym 4x/week. I just… Shower every day. 🤨
If you shave your armpits, you should look into aluminum accumulation in your breasts.

Throw off the shackles of Big Deodorant. Girls don’t need it since our body odor is generally much lower, and it could potentially be unhealthy for us.
Also, girl smell 🤤

My gf almost never farts. She’s given me a complex about it, i stg. She says she trained herself not to by sheer willpower, and in spite of living together for almost 2 years, I’ve only caught her like twice.
