- Comment on Has google stopped working for finding anything? 10 months ago:
The long and short of it - Google search was designed at a time when the web was in its infancy. Basically just text and a few images.
Fast forward to today, and reddit is the only one that still allows its data to be crawled.
As media has become more social (basically all of it) the walled gardens prevent you from even viewing content without an account.
Every platform wants you to be searching inside their service.
Google is useless.

Seems this Niles character could have taken Maris for half, but then again the show’s not rooted in reality.

Y’all are becoming a bore with the non-stop strike updates.
- Comment on My Review of The Arena (1974) 1 year ago:
Neat. Historically speaking however, women were very rarely gladiators, the ones that were were there by choice. There are about two known examples and they did not fight other gladiators, but mostly took part in beast hunts.
It was considered grotesque and woefully maligned with tradition to have female gladiators and in fact was part of why Commodus was so disliked.

Even that is redundant though, there are numerous website that have a splash screen similar to Netflix etc - have all the new shit from all the platforms, and don’t cost a dime. Look into it.

Then they tried with groceries - fail, then they tried with healthcare - fail. The whole of the stock market is wondering what Amazon’s “next big thing” will be. Likely going down the toilet will be it.

Badass I didn’t know about the paramount subscription. Costco really needs to get in on the game too because we have a membership there as well, but bulk toilet paper and family size cereal only gets you so far.

I’m going to cancel mine too Walmart and target have faster shipping, better products, and physical stores you can return shit at.
Suddenly Amazon wishing they invested in brick and mortar.

Yeah, been thinking about canceling my Prime membership for a while now. Thanks for the tipping point Amazon!
- Comment on ‘The Continental’ EPs on “Terrifying” Undertaking of a ‘John Wick’ Spinoff Without Keanu Reeves 1 year ago:
I would argue Goslings The Gray Man is done better. Similar type of film but better.
- Comment on ‘The Continental’ EPs on “Terrifying” Undertaking of a ‘John Wick’ Spinoff Without Keanu Reeves 1 year ago:
Honestly the series ran it’s course after the 1st one anyways but the Hollywood machine needed Keanu in another quadrillogy.
The mythical way the “world” operated was novel in the first film but I do not condone fleshing out an entire “world” based off the hotel rules which were becoming a trite plot point as it is.

Learn your history dumb fuck. You don’t have to believe me. You still haven’t answered what’s to gain by pissing tax payers money away to a failed eastern bloc state that formerly peddled weapons to our enemies.

California is the breadbasket of the world and certainly the US and produces far more grain, nuts & corn. Learn your shit.

Anything trying to push a narrative in a subtle or not so subtle way. Pushing an idealogy you fucktards. The fact that you don’t understand this means you’re also pushing the idealogy.
But sure dumb it down to “anything I don’t like” because you’re too fucking dense to understand its context.

It’s called integrity and readers have faith in the writer. When it’s discovered you’re full of shit there’s zero service to anyone.
Your letting your lemmygrad bullshit seep into this community.

I stopped watching when the show became woke, and they were murdering people off the ranch. It’s just overblown and very unbelievable.
Sounds like Costerner hasn’t changed much.
- Comment on CNN plans to start a new digital service called CNN MAX 1 year ago:
Seriously. And this momo who said “they aren’t expanding” below your post clearly missed the point.
This mega merger / conglomerate / business venture / friendly takeover whatever you want to call it bullshit is the issue.
The fact that all these fools are already calling it “Max” as it’s now called under the latest rebranding is proof positive of that. The fucking service changed names only 3 months ago.
