This. It’s a simple as a really good router or a pihole at home or similar. Just block their domains they ring home to.
- Comment on StarCraft could return, according to Blizzard president, but not necessarily as an RTS 1 year ago:
The next Total Annihilation is going to be balls to the wall good. Check the trailers.
Storm Gate and Zero Space are being made by ex Blizz staff. Both in alpha.
RTS is back on the menu, boys.

It was made then they shelved it
- Comment on Windows: we noticed that you kept the useless search bar disabled since 2015, so we sent an update that re-enabled it without your permission 1 year ago:
This has to be satire, no (most) corporate organisation that isn’t tech builds their applications for Linux first.
- Comment on Returning to the office is 'wildly more expensive' today than in 2019—here's how much people are spending 1 year ago:
To be fair, team building isn’t great unless your team is a bunch of introverts.
I prefer 100% WFH because I can spend the commute time with my kids and tell them outright that time is worth another 100k which I’ve never had taken up. I have solar at home so I make no energy footprint while I work too.

The other person made a good point but QA before release is important and lots of bugs were dead obvious in all the games.

I do a play through of all the FO games every couple of years too.

Obsidian are great at sorry but also iffy at game Dev. NV was standard AAA bug fest.

The lack of real stories was a disappointment but I like the whole empty world find your own fun kinda thing in NMS, we started playing after MP was fixed and within 10 mins I had a carrier 😂

I really liked the Mass Effect Series, it’s no Freelancer or Freespace but if it even feels a little bit like what No Man Sky was doing it should be good. Fallout series and TES proves it will be buggy but fun.

Kbin is different to lemmy but activitypub only shares certain data. Looking at the tech info the primary server only shares the count to the federation but would know who directly liked it. www.w3.org/TR/activitypub/#liked

You can do local counts as the instance owner can see that but afaik the who voted doesn’t federate. Might be wrong I need to go back through the docs.

Which is weird because majority of the gaming and corporate world runs on Windows. I dual boot my systems so I have both available.

I’ve returned so much stuff to Amazon without query, just a refund. I’d be surprised if you got any pushback.

Not exactly true for Australian consumer laws. The retailer has to resolve a and b. C manufacturers and sellers need to adhere to standards but Amazon would be liable for selling dangerous products. Also get insurance.
