But of course, TV AFKing took up a solid chunk of this time… because of forced waiting periods. Sooooo combine a pay-to-play per hour model and forced waiting periods then you’ve got MTX “Shark cards” with extra annoying steps.

In Chinese/Japanese they may not necessarily start with the same letter but they look kind of similar:

Steam is a legitimate value add for sellers and buyers/users, that justifies its 30% cut. Other than free games, Epic has a seemingly easy-to-integrate online networking system, that’s about it. Steam has a modding platform, broadcasting, remote “parsec”-like controller emulator, Linux support, content sharing, forums and a developer news feed. That’s quite a lot.
What makes me stick with them is that they don’t preclude Steam and other gaming users from using alternatives but simply compete with their own well-made system… plenty of games have their own cross-platform mod-launchers that aren’t workshop for example. Steamworks DRM isn’t required and Steam networking services for multiplayer aren’t mandatory either.
That said, itch and GoG are great alternatives where they have games available. I’d just like GoG to provide better Linux support.

Blender 2.79 and earlier was super-unintuitive. 2.8 gave it a fresh coat of paint it’s easier and more featureful with each version!

For elementary school make it 4 days a week, parents should have another day with their kids. For highschool, many teachers do one or two subjects which don’t necessarily have to cover all five days, they can swap out.

In North America, large dumpsters for apartments and companies have a colour that is just the company colour, such as Green for WM, GFL, Blue for Waste Connections, Republic, other companies can be Red, Brown, White, Cyan, Orange, Yellow or other colours.
The use is typically denoted by a sticker, sign or by spray painted letters.
For residential curbside bins, blue is typical, but some do it differently if it’s separated further into glass, plastic containers and paper/cardboard products. The colours schemes between recyclables and organics is not consistent and varies from city to city.

Making an “ouch” device or basic heater is something I could do.
Even a battery I could make a simple alumium air battery cell. Or lemon battery. But I’d be viewed like a sorcerer asking for foreign ingredients like salt, aluminum and zinc.

All of the things you mentioned other than A/C, power steer and ABS are premium. But I drive a car from 2007 so what do I know.
