Very much looking forward to this. Pissed I have to buy it for a third time. Bought original for PC many moons ago. Then the same version on steam. Then the remastered version on steam. And will again be buying the re re re mastered version on steam.

Really enjoyed valheim. Not sure it was my fave but really enjoyable. A game I can just keep going back to.
- Comment on Fallout 3: GOTY Edition is free to keep for the next 24 hours on the Epic Games Store 11 months ago:
Again I don’t disagree. I think untill gamers or consumers lobby the industry, we will keep getting shafted. None of those things listed help the consumer. Maybe patches and new updates but not if it doesn’t ship with a completely unbroken game
- Comment on Fallout 3: GOTY Edition is free to keep for the next 24 hours on the Epic Games Store 11 months ago:
Mate I got it. I have all the free games from epic.
My point was that it’s not a “game” in the traditional sense. Anything online that requires a launcher is a licence.
Similar to me “purchasing” a film on prime. I don’t actually purchase the film, I purchase a license to access the file solely through their system.
They can revoke or lose that license and I lose access. Different to me buying a DVD and I can use it whenever I want as long as I have a DVD player.
I agree. I was just following on the point from above. It is shit that we can’t buy from company. I bought the game 10 years ago. Bit of double dipping. I’ve rebought a bunch of older games.
- Comment on Fallout 3: GOTY Edition is free to keep for the next 24 hours on the Epic Games Store 11 months ago:
I was going to say. This is probably the opposite. Unfortunately once epic goes down. Because of their awful launcher you won’t actually be able to use it

Nothing works in a system failure. It’s a system failure.
They can only play their download games if it doesn’t need to access steam for a reason. Yeah you can go get a Nintendo 64 and play a game. Modern games require an internet connection. Yeah it’s a downside to it but it’s like saying you can’t play when it’s a powercut. It’s what board games say to video gamers.
Also true. An issue that has just come up with Ubisoft. They have discontinued a game. No way to access it. That’s probably the most legit point.
Very true. Look at Sony. Look at discovery. They aren’t refunding. Are you calling them failures ?
- Comment on What happened to LineageOS? Has it been replaced by GrapheneOS? 1 year ago:
You should try apps. Be good UK try other side. Can always cancel after a trial period. It’s easier to block google pay than a card, but only by a fraction. Both can be completed in app.
That is true but it’s an antiquated system that requires updating. But I get ya.
My phone is password and fingerprint protected and I change the password regularly. No one would be attempting that. My Family members would never attempt something so brazen and my friends wouldn’t gain access. But again I can understand the point. It’s pretty out there. You could use the same argument for a card. If someone gets access to your card it has all the details available to you and doesn’t require password or fingerprint
In dome ways yes but that’s the system we live
- Comment on What happened to LineageOS? Has it been replaced by GrapheneOS? 1 year ago:
Oh I don’t disagree with biometrics. They are the ultimate in security. But if you lose access you are fucked.
They could be spoofed. But each year it’s harder and harder and as I said. Petty crime would weigh up the odds. Contactless card that you can use a few times before locked or need to spoof a fingerprint to get into a phone and then use contactless.
I know which one id choose. Also we need to keep the phone connected to the Google account. Increasing my ability to trace you and retrieve my phone. Card will ping location but it doesn’t say where your house is. I can remotely lock my Google phone and trace it. Can’t do that with card. I think phone is a Much riskier endeavor.
And I will be er revert to using card. As states above it’s a worse experience in all aspects. Easier to lose card, easier to be stolen and worse protection. Always have phone on me and can do a multitude of jobs. Card can do one thing.
That’s the pay off isn’t it. Google data vs bank data. It’s the same data yet It inconveniences me more. Same outcome.
Literally no one is haggling. That’s a ridiculous proposition. When was the last time you haggle for a beer. Money is cumbersome and completely unnecessary. Yes it’s great for illicit nefarious reasons. 99% of people have no need for that. Cash means wallets pockets and then I’m stuck with useless change.
Cash hadn’t been king for a while. Jesus during COVID-19 places wouldn’t even accept it. Contactless or I don’t shop there.
- Comment on What happened to LineageOS? Has it been replaced by GrapheneOS? 1 year ago:
Sorry. Where are fingerprint readers easy to crack ? Maybe government agencies and high level crime syndicates. Not petty thief’s. I don’t use phone pin. I use fingerprint as discussed.
I don’t use card pin so that’s not an issue. The problem would be a contactless card. Which is the debate we are currently engaged in.
So no. I’ll stick with my phone using Google pay. I had my card skimmed with a card reader and my bank emptied. Funnily enough has never happened with my phone.

They don’t have as good as first but they do obviously have some capacity. Plus you can use data. Obviously very expensive using data but you save not buying the console. It’s still where I think Google should have pushed. America didn’t want or need stadia. Same with Europe.
The games were discounted and you got free games in the paid tier. 10er a month for games. Not the worst deal.
Which is where they went wrong. They didn’t get the numbers as people already had gaming units that were better and faster… the issue
- Comment on What happened to LineageOS? Has it been replaced by GrapheneOS? 1 year ago:
How would they use my phone? It’s locked and requires fingerprint to unlock? Card requires nothing. Can lock down phone. Can lock card but need to contact bank.
- Comment on What happened to LineageOS? Has it been replaced by GrapheneOS? 1 year ago:
I don’t want to tap the card. Point of preference. I don’t have a wallet. I have a phone.

But it did I work. I used it. Many other used it. It was cloud gaming. What hadn’t been accomplished before.
That was an issue. However many companies aren’t profitable in their first few years. The toll out was a complete mess. Also as stated they chose wrong. I get why they picked murica. Infrastructure was always going to be an issue but that’s not where you get people looking to save money and not buy a console. Third world would have been the sweet spot. A rig they can play red dead for pennies.
They opened it up to phones and with Enough bandwidth you could play games you’d never manage before.
Yes but long run. Nobody thought Google was going to saunter in and beat the big Bois. Takes time to build a playerbase get the product actually working and improve it. None of that happened in first year.
- Comment on Netflix developing over 10 games in-house currently 1 year ago:
It kinda is though. In terms of what others attacked it for. All the attack videos and yet I played it via VPN in a non supported country. Google fucked up by launching in America. A place with plenty cash and a spoiled player base. Where it would win would be poor countries. Just look at down votes ? For saying a device worked as intended. Tells you all you need to know.
Internet infrastructure was a big issue and games were mostly Ubisoft but still. What a game changer. Then I moved to GeForce and haven’t looked back.

Wasn’t successful in playerbase no. Was in terms of a cloud gaming system. It worked. All I neeee it to do. Didn’t hit googles lofty ideals though.
- Comment on What happened to LineageOS? Has it been replaced by GrapheneOS? 1 year ago:
Fair point. Is there an alternative to Google pay. I don’t use a card and pretty much refuse to use anywhere that requires care or cash
- Comment on Netflix developing over 10 games in-house currently 1 year ago:
Stadia was successful. Everyone just hated on it for some reason. Didn’t get the playerbase so it was sold off. Was a fantastic service and I curse google daily
- Comment on What happened to LineageOS? Has it been replaced by GrapheneOS? 1 year ago:
So google pay doesn’t work. That’s a bastard

Does graphene allow banking apps ? Does it trip safety net ?
- Comment on What happened to LineageOS? Has it been replaced by GrapheneOS? 1 year ago:
Aren’t they differing systems? Graphene was mostly pixel / Google devices. Whereas lineageos was a hunch of different devices. Lineageos was an evolution from cryomod

Exactly. S few this company
- Comment on Epic is giving away 17 games as part of its holiday sale 1 year ago:
Ah of course. However I read recently that someone had the base gane and extra products but Bungie decided it wasn’t making enough money so removed the base game and has gone a different route. Removing the players items and game data.
So I’d highly recommend nobody touch destiny with a barge pole. Bad consumer practice. Would prefer if they disappear from the gaming industry

Haven’t played cod since black ops 2. Unlikely to ever play it again.
Unless it gets very real and they do world war 1 and 2 or something. Not interested in being teabagged by a bunch of teens on multiplayer
