The ones that were largely left to fail during COVID?

I suppose if you’re going to lift your dogshit opinions from people like Andrew Tate, it makes sense that you’d also LARP as them on the internet too.
I hate to break it to you, but he’s not really a trillionaire like he claims. He’s just a rapist who is desperately overcompensating so he can pretend his father’s abuse was good for him.
I don’t know if you’re 12 and think that’s what cool looks like or a genuine adult that hasn’t realised what sad fucks your far-right idols are, but it’s genuinely embarrassing to watch either way.

Thanks for removing all doubt that you’re a fucking idiot.
- Comment on Rishi Sunak says people ‘can’t be any sex they want to be’ in new swipe at trans community 1 year ago:
Sure don’t then. You openly admitted it was an accident, you just wanted to share the story so you could call trans people “retarded”.
We both know what would happen if you deliberately misgendered him and flatly refused to use his actual name because you decided your take on them was more important than their identity.
But you won’t, because he’s not on your list of people you consider it socially acceptable to be a cunt to.
- Comment on Rishi Sunak says people ‘can’t be any sex they want to be’ in new swipe at trans community 1 year ago:
And do you ever intentionally misgender cis people and refuse to use their legal names because they don’t measure up to some standard of yours, or do you reserve that shittiness for trans people exclusively?

We do, through threads like this.

He doesn’t actually know what he’s talking about. He’s flailing around trying to reconcile what the word actually meant with Republicans deciding to make it a trigger word for reactionaries.
He can’t just say “I don’t like him because I’ve been told to not like him”, but that’s functionally what it boils down to.

Greed.

“Teenage pseudo-intellectual edgelords” is a demographic targeteted for recruitment by the far-right and its a scene that was filled with them decades ago.
So now they’re not racists and sexists, they’re “race realists” and armchair biologists. All it took was a crooked scan of a figure in a published paper.
But there’s no critical thought behind it at all. Give them a list of IQ grouped by race and they’ll declare there are no contributing systemic problems or historical events, black people are just genetically inferior.
There are so many obvious threads to follow.
Scientific ones like “Is IQ actually objective or can you easily be primed and trained for the test?”.
Moral ones like “Should people’s rights and freedoms be decided by their intelligence and if so, why is that being extrapolated from the color of their skin rather than giving IQ tests to white supremacists?”.
Innate ones that don’t require any further context like “If white people aren’t at the top of that list anyway, why is the ‘okay to abuse’ cut off at second place?”
Ultimately, they’re no different from the religious extremists. They’re bigots and they’ve worked backwards from that to find an excuse.
- Comment on Everyone is Broke and Tired - Tiktok Vents About Inflation 1 year ago:
The is no level of “worse” that will make the people responsible willingly change.
The “Inflation” that is crushing people is almost entirely down to executive greed. They’re brining in record profits, giving themselves giant bonuses and not letting even a crumb escape their snout. COVID showed them they could take even more from people so now that the supply issues have settled, that’s exactly what they’re doing.
And they’ll never feel bad about it. They’re the people who told the radium girls to make a point on their brush by sucking it. They’re the people who put formaldehyde in milk and shrugged when it killed children. They’re the people who don’t even try to hide the foreign and domestic slaves in their supply lines. They’re the people who told us that cigarettes were good for our lungs as they buried research saying the opposite. They’re the ones who astro-turfed and bribed people into doing nothing about climate change.
They’re not going to start suddenly feeling guilty, because if that was an emotion they were capable of, we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
The only way to stop this is to put limits on how much they can line their own pockets. No more tax loopholes for the rich, no more insane wages and bonuses, no more brutal exploitation of foreign workers.
Because if there’s a dollar they think they can get their hands on, they’ll do reprehensible things to make it happen.
- Comment on Does this instance have a stance on right wing disinformation communities? 1 year ago:
Reactionary communities are also the bedbugs of social media.
Once they established themselves on reddit, they quickly spread to other subs and overwhelmed their content with brigading and vote manipulation, trying to push lonely, frustrated people into the far-right funnel.
Thats why I’m not interested in an instance that tolerates them. “Getting an inch and taking a mile” is exactly their statetgy and they’ll quickly render local communities worthless.
- Comment on Stiff Upper Lip: Who is Behind the Satirical “News” Website Being Promoted By Conservative Peer on GB News? 1 year ago:
I’m not sure the far-right worldview translates well into humor.
It never feels like their goal is to actually make anyone laugh but rather to wrap some humor around a stick and hit a minority with it.
The most successful jokes are primarily used as a dogwhistle. “I identify as an attack helicopter” or “equal rights means equal lefts” right have got a mild chuckle the first time, but now it’s clearly just a mask-on way of saying “I don’t respect the trans community or women who don’t behave the way I want”.
It also takes millions of dollars to prop it up. Unsurprisingly, people who are wealthy and willing enough to just buy up a mode of mass communication to push their opinions on others tend to be assholes.
