If you know someone with chickens, give your pumpkins to them. The chickens love to eat the insides all the way to the edge of the rind. It is also supposed to be a natural dewormer.

What is a study nurse? Is it a nurse educator or research nurse?
The nurses I have known who moved into case management from bedside were surprised with the demands of that job but that is in the US. From my experience, it seems like case management turnover rates are high.
What is your area of expertise? I am assuming that you are a bit computer savvy by being on a fediverse platform and if so, what about looking into clinical informatics?
I would be hesitant about moving into a position with lower pay. I’ve done both bedside and desk jobs as a nurse and personally, looking at all the info you have shared, I would stick to bedside if you aren’t burnt out yet until a better paying/hours/benefits administrative job opportunity comes around. But if you are already burned out, definitely do something else or you will be miserable. You can always return to bedside if things don’t work out.
Feel free to DM me if you want someone to bounce ideas off of.
Best of luck.

I believe the name of the community (top line) must be lowercase.

Welcome! This is a great instance, but don’t forget to check out communities on all instances. I start by viewing by all, and then when you find a community you like, subscribe to it. Sometimes there are duplicate communities on different servers. You can subscribe to all/both and the widdle down the ones that are most active or the ones you prefer to participate in. Once you got a good set of communities that you are subscribed to it is easier to avoid the things you don’t want to see.
Generally people are very friendly if you have questions. You can attempt to look for an answer to your question that may already have been posted in various communities or posts, but at the moment it is a bit difficult to search for individual questions amongst the entire federation and various instances.
Try out one of the apps. I am an android user and prefer Sync, Connect, and Voyager. iOS has Memmy and a few others I am not familiar with. I find it easier to maneuver around Lemmy with an app but the default browser UI works just as well.
Enjoy!
