I was addressing the sending of short-messages, without giving your data to a large corp. Delta Chat is E2EE over a mail SMTP transport-layer. Only you and recipients seeing it.

Ads are done as a concept.
Could adopt the Wikimedia style metric of “If each person donated $2.70” That quantifies the amount needed for bandwidth and other running costs.
Or the yucata.de method of having a yearly donor tier list, that shows which users are in each of the 3 donor-level bands. Also shown as individual donor-level flair on each user page.

That is what I am seeing now too, same as the first time I saw this.
However, when it got posted to Lemmy ~7months ago I could switch it between colours.
I posted then, about how to do it. Something like defocussing your eyes, and then looking at the sunny part on the right-side, to switch to white&gold.

Software to remotely control wall-mount airconditioners(sometimes called reverse-cycle AC, or a heat-pump).
Making some modular units that use off-the-shelf components, that can send the correct IR codes to run an AC at predetermined times. Maybe a wifi connection so it can accept remote commands or relay state info about current room temps etc.

Intermittent fasting, only eat from 10am-6pm.
Early morning exercise, 1hr of walking or cycling. Start 5am or 6am. Medium intensity.
Generally healthy meals. No calorie blowout days.
Plenty of water, minimal fizzy drinks. Soda water is OK.
For added benefit, afternoon HIIT.
Worked for me.
