Activitypub accounts are portable actually. Lemmy is not as slick as Mastodon with this feature yet but will likely get there.

The replicators work very well, thank you.

A much hyped fan series from the post Enterprise/pre-Disco days where fan films were all we had to keep us going. “Renegades” had a good amount of hype around it because it had a real budget and the cast they managed to get. Unfortunately money can’t buy taste and the actual script is pretty bad.

I hope we get a de-aged Shatner appearance (I don’t actually hope that… I think)

It really feels like they watched Star Trek Renegades and were like “YES”.
I echo what you said elsewhere, if I get a goofy actin movie or better then I won’t be disappointed and it will be nice to see the Discovery-era one last time.

Why does the other persons energy matter? If someone requests not to be called something and you continue to call them that then you are kinda being a jerk.

I loved him in Layer Cake where he plays the opposite of Miles O’Brien.

From an e-waste perspective not having a battery is really cool. The article doesn’t mention this, but the plastic appears recycled too. I wonder how it types?

The only episode I ever actually skip. Although the “A” plot isn’t terrible!

I love the one where the bodies get dumped in the wormhole lol. Your essay also made me think of VOY’s “Mortal Coil” where Neelix has a “spiritual” crisis but as you said the crisis can be viewed as coming from the collective definition of what death means socially.

*Captain’s log, Stardate 43153.7. We are departing the Lemmy instance. We leave behind a being capable of producing extraordinarily corny strings of puns. I am not certain if he should be praised or condemned. Only that he should be left alone. *

For some reason this quote popped into my head:
Q: *The Jean-Luc Picard you wanted to be […] learned to play it safe. And he never, ever got noticed by anyone. *

Every reddit-brained geek said the same thing about LD and then ended up liking it so I’m glad Paramount isn’t listening to the fearful fans.

I don’t understand the urge for some people to bitch and moan about everything they haven’t even seen. “Smaller more personal stakes” doesn’t mean something will be good, either!
