- Comment on Unity issue an apology on Twitter for "confusion and angst" over the runtime fee policy.:
No problem. I still have my account there but if I can avoid it then I will, so always prefer Nitter too. I also respect that there is content that others want to see without giving Twitter data and/or a click.

- Comment on You are what you eat:
Dude must be living on croutons.
- Comment on Monkey Island-like Foolish Mortals moved to 2024, improvements inbound:
I’ll always welcome more point-and-click games like this. We don’t get anywhere near enough of them these days.
- Comment on Starfield, is it getting review bombed?:
I dunno, TLoU2 definitely got it harder but there’s still that massive gap in middle range reviews (see image) that made me question it with Starfield.
- Comment on Starfield, is it getting review bombed?:
Oh I know there are, I’m not saying otherwise.
- Comment on Starfield, is it getting review bombed?:
It would seem so to me. When there’s a big disparity across the ratings - positive and negative are similar on metacritic with little in between - it raises a lot of red flag to me.
- Comment on EA SPORTS WRC - Official Reveal Trailer:
This looks great, but not holding out any hope of it not being stuffed full of micro transactions.
- Comment on Stray is being turned into a movie:
I absolutely adore that game, but in all honesty I’m not sure I want a straight adaption. When I finished the game I was left feeling like wanted more beyond the game, I want to see more of the world and lore that the writers built.
- Comment on Former CIG employee speaks out about Star Citizen’s design trajectory and money burn:
We’d all hope so but how many times have people fallen for Peter Molyneuxs shenanigans.
- Comment on Sea of Stars sold 100,000 copies on day one:
That’s great news. It’s next on my list of games once I’m done with Armored Core.
- Comment on Lara Croft will be joining Call of Duty as an Operator in September:
There’s too many polygons for this to be her actual design.
- Comment on Square Enix has removed Denuvo from Octopath Traveler 2:
Has to be. There’s always going to be a point in a games post-release lifecycle where the cost is just not worth it anymore. Shame these decisions always seem to be based on cost and not what’s right for the consumer.
- Comment on Square Enix share price drops amid claims Final Fantasy 16 didn’t meet ‘high end’ expectations:
The whole argument really is strange and all speculation. There’s plenty of areas where FFXVI and SE arguably fell short, but even by this guys own admission in his edit, the game met projections. If they were expecting to “unlock more” those projections would have been higher.
If you look at their recent financial report this seems to be nothing to do with FFXVI as sales in that “HD Gaming” and “Merchandise” area are up. Literally every other area is down, even MMO sales (FFXIV).
Whether people like the game or not, it seems to have helped prevent SE suffer from a worse dip.
- Comment on MMO mouse recommendations?:
I’ve had two Razer Naga mice over the years for playing FFXIV. It works really well, and the first I bought still actually works - I just wanted the swappable plates of the Naga Trinity for when I was playing other games. I find them really solid to be honest and would definitely buy a third if I need to.
I can’t really speak for other mice, as I’ve not used others.
