- Comment on Is there any such thing as "edutainment" shows for adults? 18 hours ago:
Adam Savage has a cool one season show called “Savage Builds” (www.imdb.com/title/tt10233836/)
- Comment on Why does it feel like most art museums are for adults and most science museums are for kids? 1 week ago:
I am with you. The guy above seems to treat children as the r word.
I can say for myself that having to relearn a ton of stuff as an adult is traumatizing and I agree with you that we should teach reality no matter the age (we can tackle it from various angles but saying that teaching bollocks is ok, that is a different story). - Comment on Why do we eat dessert? 2 months ago:
What is soylent red and yellow?
Years ago youtube had videos of people making a product called soylent to replace food. From what I remember it didnt make people healthy and failed. Now searching for it apparently soylent word came from a movie about eating people? Wtf is the color part (green, red, yellow)? - Comment on Hollow Knight: Silksong - Release Date Trailer (September 4) 9 months ago:
If it will be like the first it won’t be a wall of difficulty checks thrown in your way. What I liked most of Hollow Knight it was how masterly designed it was. It took you by your hand and thought every skill check you needed beforehand. You got good as you progressed. It it not frustrating as Dark Souls, it has a curve that kept increasing.

Thank you for the reply.
“People know so much because they take the time to learn, and it does take a lot of time and patience”.
Off topic but I don’t think is that easy. We only have so much time… I just learned about this stuff. If I was 80 it would be game over.

You just put me on a rabbit hole of looking at what FPGA means. Are these cheaters buying their cards already made? Learning such magic to cheat in games seems very weird.
Is “Mister FPGA” an FPGA because it can reprogram its “internal logic” to be as the gaming chips from the consoles?
How come people know so much? Dang here I thought being a computer wizard was one thing and you shattered my expectations - Comment on Vintage gaming advertising pictures: a gallery 10 months ago:

I did use CRT TVs and monitors, but only when very young. Man you just made me revisit a part of my brain long dormant! I loved the sweet static discharge as well, it was so f*ing rad!
