Stop pissing around Mr Chalmers and set up a genuine Sovereign Wealth fund like Norway funded by new royalties on oil/gas/coal/ironore/gold/lithium and all the other wealth generated by mining that is being stripped out by international and national mining companies.

Yes but your death will also result in The Doctor saving a highly populated and benevolent spaceship/city/country/civilisation/planet/solar system/multi system commonwealth/galactic empire/inter galactic multi reality or indeed the whole Universe both multiversal and singular.
Or your death will result in The Doctor defeating a malevolent spaceship/city/country/civilisation/planet/solar system/multi system commonwealth/galactic empire/inter galactic multi reality or indeed the whole Universe both multiversal and singular.
So worth it really.

- Comment on Greens demand hostile takeover of RBA in exchange for passing board reforms in likely death knell to treasurer's bill 1 month ago:
That’s right I think, which goes to show the Greens want to do something that even Paul Keating baulked at. A very bad precedent to start.
- Comment on Greens demand hostile takeover of RBA in exchange for passing board reforms in likely death knell to treasurer's bill 1 month ago:
If politicians can dictate to the RBA idiots like Morrison would have dropped the rate just to win an election and what do you think the chances of the new government raising them?
It would be a disaster and we would be running at Argentinian levels of inflation very quickly
Is the RBA perfect with 20/20 foresite? No
Is it better than having politicians running the levers to suit their short term agendas? Fuck yes
This is Pauline Hanson levels of stupidity from the Greens. I had hoped they would be much better than this.
- Comment on Greens demand hostile takeover of RBA in exchange for passing board reforms in likely death knell to treasurer's bill 1 month ago:
This is bonkers. The RBA needs to be independent.

It’s heavily regulated now as someone sold one of the male drumsticks that still had the venomous spur attached at a Saturday farmers market.
Fortunately most of the venom was deactivated by frying it but they still had to be hospitalised for a week.

- Comment on Archaeologists are too scared to open the tomb of China's first emperor because they fear booby traps 1 year ago:
The whole site is incredible but I was told when there that they are also reluctant to open the main tomb because the colour on the terracotta warriors that have been exposed to the atmosphere faded away within hours. They don’t currently have a method to prevent this happening and don’t want to potentially damage the artefacts in the main tomb until they have a good system to prevent this happening.
