I like John Scalzi and I love Star Trek, but I couldn’t get into Redshirts. It just felt like “We have Star Trek at home…”

I got it without rice, so its girth was indeed unimpressive. And it was very wet.

Got one today- $18 for double steak. Would have had to sell a kidney if I added guac.

The car doesn’t start unless the driver is wearing the onesie. It’s an after market thing.

My, aren’t we salty.
What I’m saying is, there is a certain type of man who goes around policing women’s appearances and beauty habits on the internet (ew, I wish they wouldn’t wear makeups… so gross!). This type also gets fussy when they have to witness a woman not having a stunningly flawless face (ew, she’s a 3, how dare she exist).
- Comment on True Story 1 year ago:
Agree. Men who go out of their way to evaluate women’s appearances and say they like women with no makeup generally mean they prefer it when women are level ten makeup astronauts who make full face look like “I just woke up this way!”
That said, the full-set lakes that make it visibly hard for a person to blink look really uncomfortable, and that makes me vicariously uncomfortable.

Oh that’s really funny. I just assumed inking was some industry lingo I didn’t know. Either way, Mr Nelix won’t be the one doing it.

I reread this twice as “Nelix was inking it up” and was trying to figure out the joke.

I agree. I think people forget (or missed) that the Vulcans went for this logic-only lifestyle because they are such an extremely emotional race that it nearly destroyed them.
That is why they begin their emotional control/suppression/denial training basically at birth. It doesn’t come naturally to them, and as every Vulcan living among humans has pointed out to them at some point by a Vulcan living in Vulcan company: living with humans makes you an emotional mess.

I’ve heard that in the UK “Trump” is old person slang for a fart and has been since before the American Trump family was well known.

Well steaming is certainly a step up from boiling it for a full hour like their parents did, for “safety.”

You can tattoo anywhere that is skin, but it doesn’t stay nice for long on the palmar side of the hand, I imagine it would be much worse on the finger tips.
I know a number of people who got their wedding “rings” tattooed on and were told by the artist that the under side would smudge and fade within a year or so. Years in, some have disappeared on that side and some are just an inky smear at this point.

My partner gets so mad when I look deeply into his eyes and go “IS BEEN A LOOOOOONG TIME… “
He won’t even watch that series because of the song.
