Not sure about Lemmy community, but I use this page when searching for communities: lemmyverse.net/communities
- Comment on Are there any video games in the Warhammer universe that are actually good? 2 months ago:
I still play it, even though the console version was basically abandoned ages ago and we didn’t even get the offline mode and seasonal journey PC players got. It’s still really fun regardless and is recommend it to anyone who likes that style of game.
- Comment on Etsy forcing arbitration starting Sep 15 3 months ago:
It’s baffling, isn’t it? How can a company just unilaterally decide to not be subject to this or that law, and the courts just… go with it? It’s the same level of idiocy exhibited by sovereign citizens, but somehow, when you’re a corporation they actually let you do it…
- Comment on Microsoft and Reddit Are Fighting About Why Bing’s Crawler Is Blocked on Reddit 3 months ago:
I can see why spez is upset about scrappers and search engines - image a company profiting from people creating lots of data, just hoarding it and using it for free, and not paying those people a cent, preposterous, right? :)

- Comment on Starfield's latest update draws player ire by sticking a bounty hunting quest behind the Creation Club paywall 5 months ago:
The Bethesda of old is long dead. After the disappointment that was Starfield, it will take multiple rave reviews and watching a few streamers playing on Twitch for me to even consider giving them any money. And I sure as hell will not be paying for goddamned mods, not now and not ever. Eff that and eff the greedy assholes that now run Bethesda.
- Comment on Why ‘poly-employment’ may be 2024’s next big work trend, working more than one job is getting a re-brand 5 months ago:
How soon do you think we’ll start seeing articles about indentured servitude being great for you and the next hot thing in work trends? Some Linkedin lunatics are probably praising it already…
Next big work “trend.” A fucking trend. Give me a goddamned break…
- Comment on Trending Communities for Sunday 17th March 2024 8 months ago:
How are “active users” defined? Because there’s not a single community on the Active User Growth list that got more than 10 posts PER WEEK - that doesn’t look very active to be honest…
- Comment on WebMD forcing employees back to office. "We aren’t asking or negotiating at this point. We’re informing" 10 months ago:
Oh I emphatically agree - I have a fully remote job and not even doubling my salary would make me consider switching to an office one. I was just clumsily trying to point out that a lot of corporate positions don’t require all that creativity and collaboration bullshit that clueless executives love to throw around in videos like this one.

This will definitely push all accounting, data entry and other such office workers to the heights of creativity and inventiveness - just what they need! /s
