NV got me in an aggro loop and kept me from finishing the game. Worst experience yet.
- Comment on Nyrna - a Linux/Windows tool to suspend/resume games and applications 1 year ago:
Thanks for the tipp! Currently, I have a bit of a problem with hibernation. My proprietary gpu driver sends me to blackscreen and forces me to hard reboot. So that I might need to fix first. :)
- Comment on Nyrna - a Linux/Windows tool to suspend/resume games and applications 1 year ago:
Thanks! Will do!
- Comment on Nyrna - a Linux/Windows tool to suspend/resume games and applications 1 year ago:
Thanks for clearing that up. Thanks for sharing then. Maybe someone else knows this.
- Comment on Nyrna - a Linux/Windows tool to suspend/resume games and applications 1 year ago:
I recently found out that a game I played froze when my pc went into auto suspend. Does this help with it too? Thanks for making this.
- Comment on OpenAI is too cheap to beat 1 year ago:
Same as youtube, google and all other companies who are based on copyright infringement.
Now, let’s talk about how to reform IP so that it does not help to pull up the ladder but compensates individuals for their work in a sustainable way (not by making them billionaires).
- Comment on Support for Third U.S. Political Party Up to 63% 1 year ago:
Isn’t it funny that even politics is duopoly in the US?
- Comment on The rent is too damn algorithmic 1 year ago:
I find the word „potential anti trust violations“ in combination with a company that unites landlords to fuck over renters hilarious. It‘s like nazi germany being investigated for warcrimes.
- Comment on Productivity has grown faster in Western Europe than in America 1 year ago:
In other words: the US is working overtime and spending it’s surplus money on drinks.
- Comment on HP fails to derail claims that it bricks scanners on printers when ink runs low 1 year ago:
I hope they get fucked.
- Comment on Anti-Piracy Group Takes AI Training Dataset 'Books3′ Offline 1 year ago:
It’s time to abolish traditional IP.
- Comment on Texas man sent to death row over junk science denied US Supreme Court appeal 1 year ago:
As someone who has autism as well, I can relate with the frustration he must feel.
But one thing that I find odd is the wording of the article.
Did they or did they not find evidence (other than this refuted syndrome) that he abused his child?
If they did, I‘d not consider his petition either (because I have experience with child abuse and have no empathy with child abusers whatsoever. I wouldn’t piss on them if they were burning).
But if that actually is the only reason he has been convicted, then he needs to be freed.
- Comment on The original Apple Watch lineup is officially obsolete 1 year ago:
I feel like the important part is that apple again is allowed to keep its old devices locked up after taking them our of support. This needs to become illegal.
- Comment on Could EU force hardware manufacturers to make working drivers for Linux? 1 year ago:
Amen

Nordic countries are just so much smarter than the rest. They rank among the most equal countries in the world.
- Comment on The games industry sucks 1 year ago:
Are there any tech co-ops or 100% employee owned companies? Could be a system forward.
- Comment on The games industry sucks 1 year ago:
I bought minecraft when it was 10$ I believe. Pretty sure it was still played in the browser then.
I‘m down for this type of indie game. :)
- Comment on Workers who cut countertops are dying of silicosis 1 year ago:
As is often the case, both are correct and I would even assume they benefit eachother.
Promoting toxic masculinity helps if you can’t be bothered with ppe and lack of ppe makes mostly one type of person work in that company.
Have been in woodworking and interior design for some years and it’s a rough environment. As a man, you need to be very „manly“ or people wont accept you. As a woman, you need to either be tough as nails and accept being called a bitch behind your back or be ok with being objectified.
Obviously, just my experience but pretty recent (2021).
- Comment on Croatia demolished houses of libertarian project “Liberland”, seized property 1 year ago:
Wikipedia says they just announced their „country“ and nobody in the international community recognizes it.
- Comment on Microsoft Nintendo acquisition hopes revealed by leaked Xbox exec email 1 year ago:
I get your point. You‘re not the only one schooling peeps on this. It’s highly frustrating.
Make sure to not repeat yourself a lot but make a blog, youtube channel, etc. Make your statements, put sources together to make it easy and logical and then just link to it.
The big problem democracy has is efficiency. People who actually know stuff burn out because they don’t accept that they might be right but not efficient. Don’t be that guy.
I‘m currently trying to build stuff up with mastodon but it’s still a wip.
Good luck to you.

- Comment on Microsoft Nintendo acquisition hopes revealed by leaked Xbox exec email 1 year ago:
Yes, indeed. This is so obvious and my frustration is immeasurable when hearing that people are too ignorant to understand why this is really bad.
- Comment on Is this fraud? And if so, to what extent am I responsible? 1 year ago:
I think this is a classic whistleblower situation. Disgusting companies doing disgusting things.

- Comment on Unity ...It Just Keeps Get Worse 1 year ago:
I have literally no idea. It just pops up left right and center so it seemed it is a competitor.
- Comment on Unity ...It Just Keeps Get Worse 1 year ago:
Pretty sure godot is pretty up there from what I hear but that’s the extent of my knowledge.
