Even the simplest RNA viruses require a host cell’s ribosomes, enzymes, energy, and raw materials. Outside a cell, a virus is essentially inert. That makes it hard to imagine viruses existing before cells did.

Don’t worry, Apple will come up with the iMug and charge $99 dollars. It’ll essentially be the same, but lack the sticker.
And I’m sure the second generation iMug will be lacking the handle, and will cost $19 to attach it.
