- Comment on Conservatives Quickly Turn Against “Idiot” Marjorie Taylor Greene 6 months ago:I'm making a distinction between the rank and file and the media, I don't really believe most rank and file are really like whatever the media or the like claim.... I mean if they really did flip 180 like that then it makes them incredibly disingenuous people...
- Comment on Conservatives Quickly Turn Against “Idiot” Marjorie Taylor Greene 6 months ago:I strongly suspect that most Democrats don't actually want to fund a bunch of forever wars either. I mean, that's what Obama was elected for, he just turned out to do the opposite of everything he was elected to do. "Help the poor, end the wars, shut down gitmo? I agree but let's tweak it to help the 0.1%, keep the wars going forever, keep gitmo going!"

- Comment on Thought piece: Socialists are okay with violence as long as it benefits them. 3 years ago:I had some conversation with some self-described fascists who I quickly realized were hoping to have someone come in, take over, and do exactly what they want.
To me, socialism is the same thing, a hope that someone comes in, takes over everything, and does exactly what you want.

At that point, if you do anything remotely good people are surprised and impressed. If you claim you're a goodist then anything remotely bad people will be surprised and disappointed.
- Comment on New Hampshire now requires police to wear body cameras for accountability. 3 years ago:@redditmirrorbot It's sort of ironic, body cameras tend to prove that most cops actually try really hard to do a good job and do right by people. Accountability works both ways, so I think that's a good thing. Earn respect, earn disrespect. Your choice.
- Comment on After Decades in Woods, New Hampshire Man Forced From Cabin | New Hampshire News | US News 3 years ago:@redditmirrorbot Seems to me like this is exactly what is supposed to happen -- This guy didn't own the land, he used it and got 27 years of use out of it rent-free, and eventually the rightful owner of the land came around and told him to get out.
Sometimes bad things happen. It isn't the state's fault that this guy didn't own the land he was living on, he's the one who decided to live on land he didn't own.
