  Honestly this just looks like a ton of fun although the explicit branding iconography kind of makes it feel like it should be a bundle game. Still looks fun though

  I haven't played Timberborn but I almost did pick it up on the spring sale, decided to get dotAGE instead to see what all the fuss was about and damn I love it. It's a lot more of a worker placement game and is a roguelike so if that doesn't interest you it might not be for you but damn it's good so far.

  If it helps try thinking of it as a "boomer shooter" because of the proliferation of rockets and rocket physics in classic games like Unreal and Quake

  Yeah I've been really enjoying the building in single player but I'm beginning to feel like I need to hit up multiplayer to get as much as I can out of the experience as it is now.

  Exactly right. They are attempting to incorporate it into their actual branding iconography so that they can argue it's trademark.

  I worked with a rich ranch girl at a Restaurant once, she was 17 maybe just doing the summer serving with us, and I was playing music and taking requests and I asked her what she liked and she said "none of it I hate Music." I said "what do you do in the car?" she said "listen to talk radio or podcasts" and this just... Baffled me. She was not good at her job but after she told me that I couldn't help but feel a bit bad for her.

  Starfield, Baldurs Gate 3, Payday 3, Lies of P, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Harvest Moon, and a few others that other people are probably hyped for (Madden, ETC)

  Yeah but the 3D effects in Jurassic Park were made by two passionate developers who basically invented rigging to make those sequences and went totally over budget and did it without the lighting tech we have today. Which is to say, they hand crafted each UV. That technique would never be used today but the results speak for themselves
