Think museum curator, not book warehouse owner. They have to make complex decisions involving knowledge about knowledge.

That’s how lots of Australians come here. My best friend is originally from Michigan, he came here in high school, and recently gave up his US citizenship because we can all see what’s going to happen.

Albo is a centrist wanker, thanks very much. Very much like a Democrat before Reagan.

Friend of mine once lived in a rental house that had black mold with his wife and kid. The landlord had done precisely jack shit for those three years. They kept getting lung conditions and stuff, and my friend tried to clean it himself, but it always came back.
Then one day his wife had a series of strokes during a particularly intense bout of the chronic lung shit they all got when the weather was wet.
She’s blind now. Suffered brain damage. Different personality, loss of cognitive ability, an irate shell of her former self. This woman who once had a 200 grand job in the Commonwealth public service. The marriage did not survive.
My friend is now looking after his kid mostly as a single dad in a smaller but mold-free apartment in a cheaper suburb.
The Canberra rental market is insane, and that landlord deserves arson.

However, so do you.

Mask you wear that inflates you slightly like a balloon when you sleep so you don’t suffer from periods of not breathing during the night.
Sleep apnoea is the name of the condition it treats.
It is quite nice to treat it. It may reduce the amount of days you wake up and feel like you never slept.
Sleep apnoea also increases risk of heart attack and stroke.

Yeah. It’s just common sense and good judgement. Which, strangely, is somewhat lacking in the majority of criminals who get caught.

Haha, fuck yeah, but also nah, it’s all a bit of biff mate, better to throw hands than lock up a bastard. Unfortunately the leaders do both.

We might be able to get the left-libs on board by using tax incentive structures and laws to make it way more attractive for big investors to seek steady profit levels, which would also reduce the necessity to nationalise companies. Windfall taxes are one way, where you take almost every piece of profit above a certain ceiling.
Obviously we should still nationalise natural monopolies like Amazon and Google. Internationalise them, even.

True. I’m a doofus. I meant I have a hard time finding it because my mobile browser interface simplifies the site. Oh well, time to actually put pants on to solve this problem.
