You know consoles arrive doa sometimes, right? People just don’t mention it. Also this one was fixed by leaving it overnight, so not a complete failure either.

That is the “classic” approach, but dietician increasingly recommending varied strategies fire different people.
I’ve been trying to gain weight for years and the most effective method has been 2 meals a day and intentionally snacking on small candies throughout since those teens to make me feel hungry as an appetizer rather than full like other snacks did. If I needed to lose weight the recommended practice based on how I live would be 4 meals a day and never snacking.
The way gaining or losing weight works is simple, it’s calories in versus calories burned. For some people snacking, so long as it reduces how much is eaten at meals, increases calories burned by a significant amount. Therefore keeping them at a lower weight. For others it doesn’t have that effect, and usually it’s because those people eat a consistent amount in their meals regardless.

Not necessarily, it’s a crime to deposit 9999 instead of 10 and not report. When I worked at a bank anyone who knew what they were doing and deposited 8-9k in cash got the form. People who found out and then did anything else? You get a form. People who walk out? They get a surprise notice from the fbi later.
Basically if the bank thinks you might be close we just give you the form and you don’t get to say no anymore.

I even remember in econ101 my professor brought up the basic analysis, then brought up a really cool example of this where the minimum wage changed in one state but not another in two towns right on the border. It was the perfect econ experiment to prove how supply and demand would cause inflation.
The next 5 years saw no change despite a 2 dollar an hour increase on one side only - the two towns maintained equal pricing, and no increase to inflation or pricing compared to the typical rate.
My favorite part was that he managed to be excited about it properly, because it was and is cool science to him when usually economics is trying to analyze how changes happened with way too many variables.

I mean, kind of? There are system traces of what the squirrels ate that build up, causing weird issues with other software over time. It’s why restarting your computer fixes so many software errors. Part of the close process of the computer is cleaning up most of the squirrel poops.
