You can still contribute to Wiki Foundations outside the US. I reached out to the German WMF and received the following reply. Generally I believe preserving Wikipedia is crucial and it seems donating to the German foundation will in no way contribute to the bullshit they are trying in the US.

I moved from an iPhone to Graphene about a year ago. I miss the quality hardware that Apple makes, metal and glass feel nicer than plastic. The pictures the Pixel 8 Pro takes are crap compared to my old iPhone too. However… I bought the Pixel used to test the software primarily and will stick with Graphene for the forseable future. It runs great and instead of buying a better quality Pixel, I am waiting for what Motorola will offer next year.
Some advice regarding the switch. Apple will make it annoying to leave their ecosystem. I recommend to move gradually, get your Graphene set up and keep your iPhone as a daily driver until you’re confident everything works on Graphene. I did this for about a week. I moved my pictures off of iCloud with Proton Drive and for NFC payments I switched to a bank that supports it from their own App. (Although I also switched to using 95% cash, it’s good to have a backup on the phone.) Using a Mac or going to icloud.com will make exporting your contacts and calendar a lot easier than trying it on iOS.
Two profiles is my setup. The main without Google for Threema, Signal, OrganicMaps, Voyager for Lemmy and all the other dailies. The secondary profile has the GooglePlay services running for my two banks. I use OLauncher for a clean home screen and HeliBoard as a keyboard, neither of these two have network access.

Maybe I just mean stocks in general, not the stock market or exchange. But stocks without public trading and speculating are still around and a good thing that can support creating value.
I own some stock in my bank and a farm.
For the farm, the stocks are intended for the farmer to invest in equipment or whatever they need. I work 4x a year at that farm (either packing cheese or cleaning something) and I pay for my milk, cheese and yogurt. The stocks are a great way for the farmer to get some cash for investments without involving banks. We’re about 100 people who own stock and do the quarterly shifts, but the main value is created by the farmers, their animals and the land.
Regarding my bank, any stock I buy from them enables them to do stuff with 7x the amount of money I gave them. E.g. if I own 10k in stock, they can use it to finance a 70k loan for someone.
For both, I can vote on important topics and future projects. For me this ensures my bank only invests sustainably and the milk and cheese I consume come from a farm that is nearby, organic and treats its animals well.

It still works for so many places, all you need to do is pick up the phone and ask. Some have order forms on their websites too.
But beware, some of those App companies create URLs for businesses (without their knowledge or consent) to reroute your search back to their App.

I don’t own a car because public transit is sufficient 90% of the time. I rent for the other 10% and always take an EV, they are so much fun to drive and the technology has improved significantly in the last 10 years. Great news!
