store costs to developers/publishers are insanely high for a digital distribution platform
Isn't the 30% cut what basically everyone takes? AFAIK GOG, Ubisoft, EA and all three console manufacturers take the same share.
Besides Epic only itch.io with their choose your share system and Discord (do they even still sell games?) take/took less.

the line is stating opinion as fact
I totally understand what you mean and I usually don't like it either but I think this post is easily recognized as an highly subjective opinion. So I'm fine with the way it's written and wouldn't take it as a fact.
review bombing
This is definitely not what review bombing even means (yes, that's a fact). - Comment on I tried over 20 Steam Next demos so that you don't have to! 1 year ago:
Isn't that exactly what lead us to the "every AAA game is an 8/10" meta of current videogame reviewing? I think it's totally valid to make subjective game reviews. Big outlets trying to make their reviews objectives is IMHO the reason why they are totally worthless (for me).

- Comment on How did Android's update support become so inconsistent? 1 year ago:
But your answer could be interpreted as "a FOSS OS can never maintained for a big variety of hardware over a long life cycle" which would be totally wrong. Android's driver situation might be shit but that has nothing to do with an "open system" vs a "closed system". My knowledge regarding this topic is not deep enough to give a perfect answer but I think other posts here sound more plausible.

There is something off with your reply. GNU/Linux exists and works fine with different kind of hardware while being FOSS.
