Disciple is probably more overt than Nine Lashes though, no?
DH I’ve gotten uncomfortable with since Exile.

Nah. There are a lot of bad Christian rock/metal bands, but there are quite a few good ones too.
To name some:
- Skillet is an obvious one (not my thing anymore, especially everything after Awake, but can’t call them bad)
- Silent Planet
- August Burns Red
- Underoath (until they weren’t)
- Fit For A King
- Wolves At The Gate (though their lyrics can be too much on the nose)
- Flyleaf (when Lacey Sturm was still on board)
- Love & Death
- Children 18:3

Votes are pretty easily astroturfed. You vote by buying votes and can vote more than once if you have multiple debit and credit cards

I wanted to add more storage to my media mini server in the before times, but put it off at the time… It’s going to be put off just a little bit longer now…

Probably all gacha games, like Genshin Impact or FGO. There’s a lot about those games I like, but the fact that they’re gacha actively gets in the way. If they were just regular games, most of the problems, which boil down to maximising play time like tedious grinding or filler in the main quests, would disappear.

If you absolutely need a Chromium browser (if you’re a privacy advocate, I don’t understand why. Using a Chromium browser means Google can do whatever they want with web standards), use Vivaldi or something.

my main issie is the web really is built for chrome
Indeed, although I rarely run into issues, but people not using Firefox will make this worse. Chromium, and by extension Google, has a monopoly on the web

But nobody is talking about the environments and textures. I think they look incredible.
I have to disagree. In many examples, the lighting completely changes and colours are exaggerated. This completely changes the atmosphere of a given area.

Leaving aside the question of artistic intent, does this not lead to every player having a different experience? Or maybe even every session? DLSS 5 seems to fill in a looot of details and even changing things. How are they making sure it’s the same for every player?
