Now I switched to docker container, since I don't have to install all the requirements on the host system. Do you have docker knowledge? Then I'd share the configuration.

  SMTP_SERVER=smtp.domain.com
  SMTP_PORT=587
  SMTP_LOGIN=mail@domain.com or username
  SMTP_PASSWORD=passwort
  SMTP_AUTH_METHOD=plain
  SMTP_OPENSSL_VERIFY_MODE=none
  SMTP_ENABLE_STARTTLS=auto
  SMTP_FROM_ADDRESS=mail@domain.com

  
  If that doesn't work you can change the port to 465 and try that.
