Yes. At least I didn’t hit any roadblocks like in Hollowknight.

It is one of those modern Pokemon hacks that are just ludicrously hard, or is it casually enjoyable?
- Comment on Our first look at the Steam Machine, Valve’s ambitious new game console 1 week ago:
I use a Steamdeck and a 360 gamepad and I have no strong opinion on which is more comfy while using a standard layout.
- Comment on Our first look at the Steam Machine, Valve’s ambitious new game console 1 week ago:
I’m sure the team gathered some proof in usability and ergonomy tests before deciding on an option. After all, the controller needs to adapt to many possible layouts, not just for right-handed avatar movement.

Now I understand. But how are symmetrical sticks ojectively worse? Valve’s design team built dozens of prototypes for the first controller, they probably did the same for the second one and still opted for symmetrical sticks.
- Comment on Our first look at the Steam Machine, Valve’s ambitious new game console 1 week ago:
But the DualShock doesn’t have asymmetric sticks?

I‘m enjoying these, I played through Max Payne 2 a lot during my teenage years and everything I found something new even though it’s „just“ a linear shooter.
- Comment on Gamepad for Linux Gaming? 1 week ago:
Thanks.
Allthough persoanlly, I consider using an external AA charger a convenience.
I guess it is if you already have a charger and a few more use cases for separate batteries.
- Comment on Gamepad for Linux Gaming? 1 week ago:
The Xbox controllers don’t have built-in chrager circuit, so a separate charger is needed, which is quite inconvenient. Do the others have that?

For a second I thought the headline was serious and China banned the production of useless crap or something.

Ii didn’t use the word innovative, mind you

Ubisoft codified a certain style of open world design that many other AAA releases were using as a template. He’s right, you can’t deny the impact the franchise had.

I also make sure in to visit the easter egg shrine everytime I’m playing the appartment section.
I feel like Remedy has a knack for that.
They definetely do, always a treat to explore their spaces.

Is this the main menu that looks like a dialogue encounter, or is it a dialogue encounter in the game that suddenly acts like a main menu?

I‘ve never played that game and that is way too tacky.

- Comment on 'Valve does not get anywhere near enough criticism': DayZ creator Dean Hall says the 'gambling mechanics' of Valve's monetization strategy 'have absolutely no place' in videogames 3 weeks ago:
You share that opinion with the many libertarians in this world, but unfortunately it is not that simple (and has not that much to do with financial privilege). I know it is en vogue to dismiss scientific insight, but sociology, psychology and medicine paint a very complex picture with many internal and external risk factors.
Exposing children and young adults to a gambling system with a very low entry barrier in a space that is hard for parents/guardians to oversee means malevolently accepting that you‘ll turn some of them into addicts that would not be otherwise.
If you are not an addict, that just means that you haven‘t been in the right (wrong) situation (yet). That of course is a true privilege.

You should educate yourself on how addiction works if you don’t want to sound like an idiot yourself.

I don‘t think Silksong posed a threat to their success. They are already doing fine.
- Comment on Hades II - Post-Launch Patch 1 Preview & Notes 4 weeks ago:
It is done, this is a balancing patch. The early access wasn’t “real long”, it started in may 2024 and ended last month with frquent major updates and a completed roadmap. It will also remain a singleplayer game with no multiplayer or live service features.
