As a concept, I really like it and I'm actually actively looking for games like these that just allow me to design rooms. That being said, I'm not really fond of the whole minigame thing in the way they are currently. To me, it feels like something that is just in the way of me accessing the gameplay, which is designing the room itself.
I do understand the want and the need to like gatekeep items, as to not overwhelm players with option in a fully sandbox mode, but this looks more like busywork. I don't know. That being said, I really love the art style and I'm quite interested in this.

The big problem with matchmaking is that in the long run, it kills game. When people start to move on to a new thing, the population that stays because they're attached to the game gets fucked over by matchmaking.
The less people they are, the worse it works. That's when a server browser and the ability to run community server becomes crucial. It will keep a game alive for a decade after its last update.
