I don’t think sheltering people from something teaches anything. People are resourceful too so probably won’t be long until there’s a workaround. And enforcement costs a lot of money. Just don’t think it’d work.

I’m all against the ban but a separate government run app that checks your ID and only passes a “yes/no” to an app requesting if the user is an adult is a valid way I think? That’s at least anonymous and the only data is a useless boolean.

On a local emergency TV program someone got stuck with their back caught in the metal teeth at the bottom. They had to manually reverse the escalator to free him. Injuries are unlikely and rare but the chance is not zero.

I've seen a video about rabies and now I'm horrified. It's the reason they stopped a bat cave at my local zoo. Granted you were allowed to wander between the bats but even after they closed it off the risks were too high for caretakers.
