I have this one 4th for top all time.

I guess my extensive block list might have something to do with it as well. Apparently I’m not missing much!

One of the top lemmy posts of all time is a warning not to buy Subnautica 2.

Oh boy! I love that adrenaline rush you get after executing a command and it takes a really long time that it makes you wonder “did I just delete something important?”. Not many other things can give you that tingly feeling. Glad you found a way to recover your stuff.
I’m gonna go install some backups today…

This is one group of developers who will get my purchase in early access. I normally don’t do that.

Ok, right off the bat the nested tooltips is a really cool system.

I’ve always loved the beginning of a Civ game, but kinda hated how bogged down the middle and late game get. So if this gives the feeling of early civ games, I’ll probably love it.

I’d do the same…
- Comment on Sony Pulls Back From PlayStation Games on PC 2 weeks ago:
Partly because newly released games are buggy and unfinished and they can take a while before they’re stable and quality of life features fully in place.
I don’t want to pay to be a beta tester, and I especially don’t want to pay full price for that. I can wait a bit and get a better game for cheaper.
I’ve only bought a couple of games on early release or at release lately. Deep Rock Galactic Survivor because it had a demo I enjoyed, and Hades 2 because I trust that studio and Hades is one of my favourite games.

It was so nice seeing how excited she was to be making a video again.
- Comment on Earbud question: Does anyone actually like to silicone tipped earbuds over the solid plastic ones? 3 weeks ago:
I accidentally put my earbuds though a wash cycle and borrowed some airpods for the gym while waiting for replacements. I don’t understand how a solid one-size-fits all approach can be so popular. With silicone tips you can have different sizes. I actually use a different size for each ear.
- Comment on Why are we not getting stress relief games where we take our stresses out on normal people? 4 weeks ago:
Dynasty Warriors has been my stress relief game. I just love jumping into a hoard of enemies and just start swinging.

Like Batman where the bat on his chest is reinforced because it draws fire.

I’m seeing the WD 2TB at $510 off. Crazy.
- Comment on Duke Nukem 3D 30th Anniversary Tribute | The Voice, Creators, and Legends Behind the King 1 month ago:
That was a fun watch. I played through the most recent edition of the game with developer commentary, and that was really neat to listen to the developers talk about certain details about the level or what certain areas reminded them of, or a developer who had passed away and what they had done. But I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything about the Duke Nukem voice actor, so that was new for me.

I read GOG but thought it must’ve been Epic.

- Comment on Day 365 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing (One Year Anniversary!) 8 months ago:
Congrats on the year anniversary! I don't always click on your posts, but when they show up in my feed I'm always happy to see it. I'll have to try out Uncharted 4 since that's your top game in the Best Of section.
When I'm playing games, I never think about taking screenshots. How do you manage to take so many? Do you have the mentality while playing that you're always on the lookout for interesting shots to take? Do you have your finger hovered over the print screen button?

Looks like a great game! Reminds me of the squirrel segment in "The Sword and the Stone", which was one of my favourite parts of the movie. Who hasn't wanted to run around as a squirrel?

That driver was using 0.5% of system resources! I thought it would be worse when I saw "259 blocks free", but overall that's pretty good.
