I’ll probably get some hate from the pure JRPG community for this comment (and I don’t disagree either)…
I loved Lunar: Silver Star Harmony when it came out. I didn’t play the originals, I’d just moved to the states and was living on a couch at my mom’s place and honestly things weren’t great for me… but I did bring my PSP with me and picked up Lunar.
I fell in love with that game, the music, anime cutscenes and I also really liked the art style (the comment that will piss off a lot of ppl) because I didn’t have the nostalgia. I was able to put my headphones on and escape for a bit!
I recently got the Lunar Remastered Collection on Steam and it didn’t hit the same way as it did on the PSP. That game got me through some tough times!
Oh and GTA: Chinatown Wars is phenomenal!

I hop in and out whenever a new update comes out, feels like I slip into my usual grinding routine, collect resources then sell resources. Then a new game comes out and I drop off again. I did get it for the Steam Deck and appreciate the cross save feature and they really do deserve credit for the ongoing updates. But it’s a sandbox and same game mechanics as FarmVille sometimes.

I agree the Dano and Lillard comments are probably a part of it… but also the “Fortnite Kill Bill” shit definitely didn’t help. He’s always been a questionable human being and I grew older and lost interest with him, be into feet all you like dude, but he seems totally disconnected from society for a while. Also his hyping of the Weinstein’s back in the day 😬
