No you see it’s supposed to be at their will, not your will.
- Comment on The Long Dark gets a big free visual enhancement update out now 1 week ago:
Dang I didn’t realize they were still updating this game, it’s been around for a long time.

Wouldn’t the gas still seep into the sewers in that case?
- Comment on The Democrats’ One and Only Union-Busting Governor: Jared Polis 2 weeks ago:
Look I’m not a Biden fan, I think there’s plenty to criticize him for and I would vastly prefer Bernie for president. But critiquing him on this when he got the workers what they wanted while also avoiding a strike which would have negative impacts both to workers and other people sounds like a win win to me and exactly what the president should be doing. Yeah I definitely think going the route of not allowing them to strike is definitely not the best but he did follow through to get them what they wanted. Strikes should be a last resort if a company won’t give the workers what they want and if the president can step in and get them what they want without a strike that’s generally a good thing.

Here’s some links directly from the unions thanking Biden for working with the unions after the strike was blocked to get them what they wanted.

As much as I dislike Joe Biden he did actually do a good job there of making sure the workers got their demands without having to strike. The union even ended up thanking him for it a while after all the media attention died down on it.
- Comment on $80 for Borderlands 4 too costly? Randy Pitchford says, "If you're a real fan, you'll find a way to make it happen" 3 weeks ago:
Yeah I’m really starting to feel like we’re gonna see a lot of these companies shift from doing big AAA games to instead publishing small indie games. Almost all of these big companies have indie publishing arms now and as they start to see good profits from those without having to take on the cost of paying devs themselves I wouldn’t be surprised if they start cutting back on their own dev teams and shifting to that.
- Comment on Ori studio in crisis: No Rest For The Wicked could be their final game 4 weeks ago:
I mean I imagine that comes down to the fact that Ori was published by Microsoft while this game was self published. Someone like Microsoft is gonna have a lot more resources for advertising a game versus trying to self publish it.
- Comment on Nintendo confirms $90 price for full Breath of the Wild experience on Switch 2 1 month ago:
I mean one of those is a new game, the other is an 8 year old game, I think that at that point complaining about it being 90$ is valid.
- Comment on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Won't Include the DLC 1 month ago:
I mean generally if a company releases their game on a new console years after the original game came out it does include the DLC and is like a definitive edition. At least that’s how I remember it used to be when I actually bought console games.

I mean I think a lot of it is that at least in America when it comes to Math a lot of the teaching is more about how to use specific formulas and apply them to certain kinds of problems. They don’t really teach you what it is you’re actually doing or why you’re doing it. It just turns into recognizing a type of problem and applying a certain tool to it rather than understanding what that tool is and what it does.
