I always keep in mind the first doctor to advocate washing hands after handling corpses was laughed out of medicine and died alone in an asylum ironically enough from sepsis.
To that point, the vast majority of research on nutrition is done on the presumption carbohydrates should be the foundation of our diet. Even “low” carb diet studies with have 30% of the calories coming from simple carbs. Oddly enough, the human body works much differently and much better when you don’t give it -any- sugar: youtu.be/cST99piL71E
I can expand, but briefly, sugar acts like a sandblaster through your heart and shreds the endothelium (the finger-things that move things in and out of the bloodstream). LDL is a repair van that drives around with cholesterol and saturated fat to repair the plaques. (HDL brings empty LDL back to the liver) The entire logic of blaming cholesterol for heart disease is like blaming bandaids for stab wounds. Doctors say eat less fat and more “healthy whole grains” (carbs) and the liver makes more cholesterol. Doctor sees cholesterol is still high because the body needs it and prescribes statins which impair production. This leads to nerve pain because it’s what literally every nerve in the body is insulated with.
The problems with cholesterol stem from it sitting in the bloodstream and glycating due to prolonged sugar exposure. Sugar staying in the bloodstream is basically ketoacidosis, so clearing sugar is a priority that results in LDL gumming up and going bad, essentially.
I can expand on this, but basically the human body needs predominantly fat with some protein and actually zero carbs.

I hope this is a bot account or something because this is sincerely one of the most pathetic things I’ve ever read. I’ve seen barnacles with more purpose in life than you.
- Comment on If we want to have any power vs. watching helplessly while people in charge fuck everything up, we should focus on democratic workplaces. Not just unions, workers should own and control the business 3 weeks ago:
But you get to pick what color your collar is!
How many people hated the ACA for undermining their freedom to us solely who their employer allowed them to?
How many big, strong men get their feelings hurt when ANYONE tells them not to do things (that are dangerous to themselves and/or illegal) but at the same time, is absolutely devastated when they can’t dictate how others act?
“Your right to swing your fist ends where my face begins” used to be a thing. Now, stopping a conservative from genocide is violating their freedoms.
It’s a circus of absurdity fueled by decades of rewarding blind selfishness and cuts to education.

Several points.
One, look over my post history and you’ll see I’m not a fan of the Democrats because they’re marginally less bad conservatives.
Two, like I give a fuck if reality hurts their feelings, but I’m not being elitist favoring my side. Anyone falling for the false dichotomy doesn’t understand reality to the point they could form opinions that matter. Like anyone that favors term limits is automatically a gullible rube that hasn’t looked into it at all. The majority of people rely on received opinions and specious reasoning for almost everything because actual consistent coherent thought is a learned still.
Three, I’m being objective and not judgemental, hence the links. There’s hard data everyone is just fucking dumber largely due to Republican efforts being met half way.

Are we supposed to feel bad for fascist apologists? Republicans have always been unrepentant bastards or gullible fucking morons. Usually both because they’re objectively impaired for both empathy and intelligence.

Well the biggest problem is that the fuck does conservatism want to conserve?
Selling off parks, betraying labor, violating people’s right to self determination…
If you mean Republicans, those are open fascists.
The ones doing any amount of conservation are Democrats, but eventually one realizes nimby liberalism is just the slower road to fascism as it always bends the knee to corporate interests. We wouldn’t be here if this wasn’t true.
The “responsible adults” in the room are either spineless cowards, incompetent dupes, or malicious insider trading bad actors themselves.
Between the Business Plot and the lack of any action against cellar boxing American corporations into bankruptcy and predatory economic bubbles it becomes ever clearer the goal of the entire system is to fleece the poor masses to make the rich minority ever richer.

Empathy and intelligence are good proxies for political orientation.
The smarter and/or more empathic people are the more left they tend to skew.
Objectively, you sound ignorant and wholly self centered but still not self interested to the point you need other people to tell you your views because you haven’t thought about them yourself. At this point, your opinion is whatever people tell you to make it.
But if you’re not a straight white man or a tradfem you’re actively disservicing yourself by not understanding what being politically ignorant has on literally every facet of your existence from the water you drink to your validity as an autonomous individual.
Then even if you are a straight white man, racism is largely a misdirection for class warfare via wage theft, wage suppression, and inflation.
Explore this site and take the quiz if you’re curious, but also look at the history of US elections and notice how far right candidates have gone the last 2 decades.
Take note of how far RIGHT candidates portrayed as “left” are.
- Comment on Do you find this compelling evidence to doubt the result of the election? 4 weeks ago:
Look at the scatter plots more closely.
Every dot (pair) is one precinct reporting.
Up and down is % of the vote.
Left to right is time in order of report.
Every dot is a unique data point. There should be no link in the results between precincts, right? Everyone should just be a total of votes for Trump or Harris.
That’s exactly what was seen for the results of early voting ballots. Normal.
However, there’s an obvious bias for Trump in the other reporting that increases in an obvious, consistent trend increasingly for Trump that’s basically impossible to have organically.
Even if what you said were true, it couldn’t account for the clean trend line working toward a goal.
The more densely populated an area is, the bluer it votes. The areas with the most people and lean blue should take longer to report. The smaller the precinct , the more red it usually goes but also faster to report. However, the most Trump leaning result came in last including large blue areas.

I suppose statistically impossible results would be more significant if you understood statistics.

- Comment on So, is the USA screwed? 5 weeks ago:
Yes.
I’m the short term not much will change and no one will react. By the time they want to react, they’ll play into a fascist crackdown.
Look into the Business Plot. This is basically the result of a century of planning between business interests and religious fanatics with too much money.
As long as capitalism is propagandized as a good thing, civilization will continue to face this issue of the few exploiting the many.
Do you believe every human deserves the same rights and dignities? It’s not possible to make a cell phone without relying on slave labor in the supply chains.
Profit is unpaid labor. As long as we normalize giving at the profits to those that already have everything, civilisations will continue to implode until one makes a mistake of such hubris everyone dies. Look at PFAS. One day we will unleash something we can’t contain and we’ll be dead before we can detect it or treat it.
Our species simply will not survive because we’re too eager to shit where we sleep just so we don’t have to walk all the way to the bathroom.
