That is literally build into every browser... Call me again when they have e2ee and SFU working.

Might be a creative false-flag operation to stirr up some discussions about similar but maybe less obviously privacy invasive company policies.
Absurdist maximation right out of an adbuster workshop.

- Comment on System partitions encryption 2 years ago:
Just as a side-note: "full-disk encryption" only means that the data on drives while they are turned off (or taken out of the device) is difficult to access.
As long as the device is running or only in standby there is no security benefit at all (and plenty of technical and performance down-sides).

Probably has a higher chance of succeeding than current AI based approaches 😅

How will you do it when as you say yourself all your friends are still on Discord?
- Comment on Mark Zuckerberg's 'metaverse' business lost more than $10 billion last year, and the losses keep growing 2 years ago:
I think there has been some un-easiness with online advertisement based businesses for a while now.
Basically no-one knows if they really provide real businesses with the benefits they claim to provide. And there is some evidence that they probably provide much less benefit than commonly claimed.
Thus any signs of weakening meet a nervous market that isn't sure if the current big players I.e. Facebook and Google are not vastly over-valuated right now.
- Comment on What's your opinion about Discord? 2 years ago:
Well, that is exactly my point. Sooner or later similar issues as with Reddit will crop up on Discord and it is likely to be worse as Discord as an even stronger communication lock-in.

Says the pig being fattened up for slaughter /s
Of course it is going to look nice if you are being pampered with loads of money to lure you in. Discord is just a bit earlier in the inevitable progression than Reddit etc... why are you here now and not any longer on Reddit?
- Comment on What's your opinion about Discord? 2 years ago:
It's ok for what it does right now, but it is only a question of time before the current funders will want their money back and then some... and they seem to have started to become quite greedy as even a large sum buy-out offer by Microsoft was declined recently. So it will probably not end nice.
Remember folks, if you are not paying for it, you're not the customer; you're the product...

Most likely GPLv3 for the client app and AGPL for any server side component.
