That doesn’t really tell me anything and it doesn’t really sound like anything I’ve heard of. What exactly are these policies you’re falling under?
- Comment on Why do big corporations get to claim losses, but small businesses can't? 2 months ago:
70%? The fuck? What do you do for a living/do you have an accountant? That doesn’t make any damn sense. Like truly I do not understand how this is possible

I feel like you don’t recognize the existence of outside factors.

It’s very easy to chest pound when you’re not having to make that same decision under the same circumstance in the moment - we don’t know what this guy‘s work prospects are or other factors that may have contributed to why he worked there as long as he did.
Maybe it wasn’t your intention, but your comment does seem to have some judgment behind it and I don’t think that’s right.

We truly live in a boring dystopia
- Comment on if you're not going to let me do this microsoft then let me turn off auto restart all together. 2 months ago:
I don’t like auto updates. I make time to do routine updates of all my software on my time. I don’t need my computer suddenly shutting down on me, but most importantly, I don’t need major projects to get borked. Often times I finish anything I am working on or at least make quick backups before running an update.
- Comment on 23 and me 2 months ago:
Yup! Before they swing across the gap in ANH and after Han saves Luke at the beginning of Empire. Leia sees Luke and kisses him (passionately) in front of Han
- Comment on 23 and me 2 months ago:
Lately I have surprisingly learned that a lot of people mention the kiss ANH but forget they made out passionately in ESB

They should’ve cut all the nonsense outside of the city at the top of Act 3. 90% of it felt like Act 1 appropriate content.

Wait you can go half? I took it and became a full on mindflayer immediately. Was this changed in patches?

I’d say that is too generous of praise but thank you. I try to be part of the 10% for sure. Never heard of this before but I really like it

Maybe so but I’d still help them.

Same

I used to feel this way but ultimately, what happened was tragic, even if it happened years prior. He expressed it publicly and some folks probably felt “seen” at the time. That’s a good thing. Talking about/hearing stories of trauma and loss and grief can be very empowering for folks who have experienced their own.
Like don’t get me wrong: yes he was (is?) all those things you described. But that was a serious loss and I think at some point folks need to recognize that we’re all human and maybe we shouldn’t attack someone working through the loss of their child. Even if we feel they don’t deserve to express themselves that way.

- Comment on Introducing you to the next Bond 3 months ago:
Right? There’s nothing quite like it. It has this tendency to combine several tropes and ideas from major films surrounding it. It’s safe in that it’s often familiar but it always has a “bond flavor” that alters it heavily

Selective breeding is a way to pick out the genetic traits you prefer so technically yes but it’s not how people typically use “genetically modified.”

Nothing wrong with the way other shooters competed.

I’ve always believed that a well-done Hitman series would give James Bond a run for their money
Watch Barry. It’s not Hitman, but trust me.
- Comment on Introducing you to the next Bond 3 months ago:
Idk Bond is this interesting cultural touchstone that I think is important to keep around. I know for me it was actually a very effective first step in to becoming critical of how women are depicted in cinema, and that message got through to me at actually a pretty early age. Around high school IIRC.
That being said I do think directors should be bolder in their vision and take bigger risks with it. It could be so much more and its history in many ways will make that all the more impactful.
TL;DR: We aren’t beholden to Fleming’s original vision. Bond can be whatever we want them to me.

I knew the % for my height and weigh growing up as if charted my growth. I wasn’t competing against anyone. It seems you’re the one who is just narrow minded here. If you’re not going to answer then I’ll just default to the obvious: you think you’re special and that everyone else is an idiot/sheeple/etc.
Bye

I didn’t say it was a competition or anything remotely like that. Please show me where I did if you believe otherwise.
I am just asking for an honest assessment of how you perceive your own judgment. So are you going to answer or not?

So you have a very high opinion of your own discretion but assume everyone else is trash or what?
Where would you put yourself as a percentile? Let’s get granular here.

No I think MBFC is very questionable at times

If you think you’re “immune” to the influence of biased sources you’re wrong.
