I cant even see the goalpost annymore… I dont care if you were in the military or not, what i implied is sad is that you somehow never learned enough about electronics to know that what you wrote is bullshit. Maybe you fixed all the equiptment? But you sure as hell didnt fix it by understanding circuits or electronics if you think 12v can harm you by touching it only because the supply is capable of high apperage (with the source “movies” none the less). “Fixing” stuff is in this day and age also not something that shows you understand how something works. In most industries and i would guess the military it is the same, fixing means “i replace module xy because the error code says so / untill it works”.
I also dont feel like responding annymore because the next message propably will be another goalpost push on why i dont think you did x or y when it was never about that…

if you really judge someone about spelling mistakes and typos on a platform that people use on phones where it is super easy to mistype something well then i cant help you… also why are you calling others child if this is your reaction to what i wrote? You had the most childish reaction i saw on here for a long time.
With what you wrote i woild bet that anny ee student that passes the first semester has more knowledge than you… and no i am not a student annymore i graduated with a bachelors end of last year :)) Also if if i still were a student that would still make me a lot more qualified than you, because before going to uni i had a 3,5 years apprenticeship as mechatronics technician that made me a “elektrofachkraft” so i am qualified to work with industrial systems up to 1000V.
If you really worked on all those systems you said you did and dont know the basics about how voltage current and resistance relate to each other it would be very sad…

I am an electrical engineer i have touched plenty of 12v and 24v… If movies are you source for eletrical safety then yoi are a idiot…
Current has nothing to do with that because it doesnt matter that your car battery can supply 100 100000 or 10000GA 12V will not be enough to make a significant current flow through you because your skin and body resistence is way to high… basic like 6 grade physics with current=voltage/resistance (yea i know body is not purly resitive etc but its good enough) whoever said voltage doesnt kill but current does was a idiot… neither does its a combination of a bunch of factors that matter…current voltage time frequency etc…
I dont even need to write something for point 2 because you have shown to not know basic understanding about dc circuit analysis…wtf

Rhis is so much bullshit… car batterie wont do shit because
- You wont feel 12v at like 60v you maybe start to feel something depending on how you are connected…
- You get shocked because the neutral and litteral earth are connected. Not because of reflecting waves…

Are you trolling? The bracket says (8-5) not (8-3)
- Comment on I dunno 2 months ago:
Yes thank you! If you have a sum it is really great to order it in a way that makes it better to ad in your head and i think that lots of people do that without thinking about it. X=2+3+1+6+2+4+7+5 X=2+3+5+4+6+7+1+2 X=5+5 + 10 +7+1+2 X=10 + 10 + 7+3 X=10 + 10 + 10
- Comment on I dunno 2 months ago:
Yea that is true but a lot of these questions use the division sign when they should just use a fraction and everything would have been easy to understand. If i see the devision sign and there are more than 2 elements like x=a÷b+5 i cry because if they just used x=a/(b+5) or x=a/b +5 it is just visible no ambiguity. (a/b as in a over b, idk how to do fractions on the phone if you know tell me!)

Using parenthesis can really help if you want to simplify a term or need to rewrite something. I do that all the time because a lot of times you then can just cross stuff out fast on equations or get a common term that just has some factor instead of having a convolutet equation.

Bf4 was horrible but they eventually made a good game out of it and the basis was wayyyyy better than bf6.
All the people who say bf6 is a good bf propably didnt play the older games. Maps are to small vehicles are bad the graphics design decisions are dumb (the modern you are outside and cant look into a house because it is a black void and if you are inside you can look outside bacause everything is to bright).
I had so many crashes and couldnt play a ehole round…
The game feels like if you told a cod developer to make a game that is a little like a battlefield.

- Comment on Battlefield 6 dev apologizes for requiring Secure Boot to power anti-cheat tools 5 months ago:
It operates at kernel level, it lives in the kernel, i would argue it “modifies” the kernel since it lives there. Also you cant say that its not a rootkit since there is no way to know what the anticheat does. If ea or riot games or others eant they can look at your files processes or just do whatever since they habe access to everything. This is a rootkit, you just hope they only look at the processes to stop cheaters but you cant know if they may send something back or execute other code.
- Comment on Battlefield 6 dev apologizes for requiring Secure Boot to power anti-cheat tools 5 months ago:
No the anti cheat is just very intrusive and does wild stuff to look at what other process3s are doing and checks system calls etc. The fact that bf6 wont run if you have the riot games anti cheat running (wich alsso is very bad) is telling. If one company cant trust that the anticheat of another company may break something when it interferes with yours is bad. Look at the crowdstrike incident.
Microsoft itself wants all this stuff gone from the kernel after crowdstrike. If your anticheat needs root acess to look at every file, process and syscall to check if you are hacking it is a desaster waiting to happen. Look at all the anti virus programs that were hijaacked to get root acess before.

The max rating is important so your powersupply/battery can be sized accordingly. No powersupply can provide a abitrary current at their rated voltage.

Thats the great thing abput being a electrical engineer, people wont laugh at you but they will ask you to fix their house wirering. And once you just look at a pcb and casually tell them what the parts off it do you blow their mind.

It would not just be applied to titles that are punlished already. I dont get why people think that? The eu would write a law that then has to be passed and then be apllied to new releases in x years. Not retroactivly to old games.

Have you read the article? It says it is not a kernel level anti cheat so it DHOULD work on linux but was not speciffially testez with proton.
- Comment on I'm looking for a no frills, physical key EV. Am I looking for something that no longer exists? 10 months ago:
Yea of course it is a “software” feature every motor in a ev is controlled by software that switches power electronics. “Dissconnecting” the phases of the motor so it wont recoup while is spins is still neutral. Or is “neutral” only a thing that a automatic transmission can do? If i put my manual out of gear is it then not in neutral? People dont want the manufacturer to install a clutch to physicly dissconnect the motors from the drivetrain but they want to be able to let the car roll without it braking by recharging the battery or dumping the power as heat into the powerstage.
And by the way yes most evs still habe gears just with a fixed ratio because if the motor was directly connected to your axle full motor rpm would be way faster than your max road speed you can drive.
