- Comment on EFF and 80 Organizations Call on EU Policymakers to Preserve Net Neutrality in the Digital Networks Act 1 week ago:
Good on them. Nice that they speak up about bad proposals and call them out.
But it would never had gone through anyway. Still nice they tell the world who is trying to act in bad faith, this case the ISPs.
- Comment on Day 363 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 2 weeks ago:

- Comment on 'A game, once sold, belongs to the customer': Prominent EU politician stands up for Stop Killing Games 2 weeks ago:
I know the option for buying movies exist. You can do it on Apple Store. You can download offline, but only into their own ecosystem.
That would be a case, where you are forced to let them download.
But it’s more realistic, that they just remove that option, than letting people download it out of their shop.
- Comment on 'A game, once sold, belongs to the customer': Prominent EU politician stands up for Stop Killing Games 2 weeks ago:
Nice. The movie industry must be shitting themselves if this goes through. They are next.

- Comment on Duolingo will replace contract workers with AI 2 months ago:
Duolingo still have translators. They just dont have as much. Now they only need to double check the output.
Its not an all or nothing situation.
- Comment on Duolingo will replace contract workers with AI 2 months ago:
Im curious as how it makes it finacially impossible for improvements by actual translators?
And what improvements do you mean?
- Comment on Duolingo will replace contract workers with AI 2 months ago:
Okay, real talk guys. If there’s one thing LLM’s actually CAN do, its language and translation. The best ones are also great at context.
You sound a bit like people yelling at companies for laying off typewriter manufactures when the computer came along.
And we are in the technology community…
- Comment on Day 266 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games l've been playing 3 months ago:
Love these posts.
Dont know if you have any statistics on your posts, but it could be pretty cool to see how many different games you played when/if you hit a year!
Keep it up.

And that’s why politican salaries should be caped. Everyone can be corrupted, even if they started good.
- Comment on EU orders Apple to open up access to iOS notifications, allow AirDrop alternatives - GSMArena.com news 4 months ago:
The company argued that it is being unfairly targeted by the DMA, letting others “freely leech off of it” - a bold claim from a company that locks down basic features, charges for what others offer for free, and blocks third-party innovations unless it gets a cut.
Based.
- Comment on Lego Confirms Pokémon Collaboration Set For 2026 4 months ago:
I have to disagree.
To play with these brands in the LEGO ecosystem is fantastic for me and the kid. We really enjoy the cross overs you can make, and LEGO makes sure everything fits.
But if LEGO didnt måle “OG content”, I would agree. But they do.

There’s not even a good rival to Facebook. It’s a shitshow and people use it anyway.
- Comment on Tencent: US designates the firm a Chinese military company 6 months ago:
I mean, they know US companies already work with the US military. That’s why they assume the Chinese companies also does.
Like Google providing US military equipment to Israel.

Takes one to know one, US government. Nobody trusts you either.
- Comment on Frostpunk creators cancel "Project 8" and lay off staff amid concerns that "narrative-driven, story-rich games" don't sell 7 months ago:
That’s not the sad part. It is companies going for maximising profit as aggressively as possible, meaning they don’t care if they could earn 20 mil on this game, if they can get 50 on another.
- Comment on Are We Ready For Driverless Buses? 7 months ago:
I’m actually going to disagree a bit here and say, I think it somewhat makes sense.
Buses have specific routes, and can be trained to perfect those. Not all routes will be suitable, but some will.
Hope they make a public database for these routes, and are able to use the self driving data to learn from it.
