- Comment on Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will be releasing "BATMAN NINJA VS. YAKUZA LEAGUE" on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on April 15. 2 days ago:
Personally the art style is why I didn’t finish the movie. The way it was animated made it impossible to watch for me so I had to stop halfway through.

- Comment on Valve have just updated the Source 1 SDK on GitHub to the latest code based on Team Fortress 2, effectively making TF2 code source available 2 days ago:
Its worth noting that all of those fan projects were based off of an old leak of the source code. Shutting them down makes sense and honestly it was weirder that it didn’t happen sooner.
Either way releasing this SDK gives the modders a brand new much more updated set of tools to make the mods all over again but this time they could even release on steam instead of just being some sort of semi-illegal back alley deal
- Comment on Has anyone watched Mufasa? How was it? 1 week ago:
Wildly my dream last night was that I went to the movies and accidentally went into the Mufasa screening. I was fucking terrified and I have no idea why.

- Comment on What movies have you watched this week? 2 weeks ago:
Flow - An incredibly beautiful animated film that really made me care for non-human characters without having a single word in the entire film.
Memoirs of a Snail - Misery porn. I loved Mary and Max but this was just incredibly well made misery porn. I had high hopes and did feel a bit let down at the end.
Cirque De Freak: The Vampires Assistant - lmfao

- Comment on Idk how they did it 3 weeks ago:
(the bit is that it isn’t eligible for most categories… It doesn’t have an original song… It’s not a short film… It isn’t an original screenplay…)
- Comment on Idk how they did it 3 weeks ago:
Yeah but they weren’t snubbed for EVERY category.
Snubbing requires the merits of being included and yet not being included. How many of those 569 movies were documentaries, short films, and had screenplays adapted from stuff while being both live action AND animated?? 1… Borderlands… The best movie to ever exist.

- Comment on Film Discussion | Star Trek: Section 31 3 weeks ago:
It felt like a movie that was desperately trying to be serious while the cast was thinking it was a comedy.
Tone wise it was a complete mess.
It had some really fun ideas but overall I think the end product was worse than the sum of its parts.
In the end, I can’t say I enjoyed it but I don’t regret watching it.

The trailer gave me way more BioShock vibes than STALKER personally but maybe I just haven’t played enough STALKER

Oh yeah for sure. Drinking on its own isn’t a problem.
Drinking during a celebration though seems to be an issue.

I’m curious if “pledging allegiance” would also count. In which case, everyone in the US who had to pledge allegiance to the flag in school is fucked!

Is it already/Are there any plans on making it steam deck compatible?

But then the fornication wouldn’t be a sin :/
- Comment on Do you think I'll get a reply? 1 month ago:
I’d also only heard the “in vain” version prior but every list I can find of all sins says “swearing an oath” and doesn’t specify the intent behind it.
I even found the passage James 5:12 which states: “Above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. All you need to say is a simple “Yes” or “No.” Otherwise you will be condemned.”
Seems to condemn all oath swearing of any kind on anything.

- Comment on Why do AI bros and other staunch AI defenders seem happy about the potential of killing off the creative industries? 1 month ago:
I feel like this is a bad take but more importantly, nothing you’ve said answers the main question. Why would someone be happy to remove all of that art from people?
In every example you gave, nothing was being removed at any point, they were just being moved around and not even always… Historical record painters got replaced with the new profession of photography but people who can paint extremely accurately still exist and are now an extremely valued skill.
The question above is not about that process, one which is as old as invention, but more about the joy of removing those jobs.
Why are some AI people so incredibly overjoyed that artists are no longer making money? Why are they so happy that writers will have to find new work? What about all of this makes them think that it’s a good thing that human programmers will be replaced?

I’ve seen this before and it always confused me. Is the pee side for urinals? If that’s the case, wayyyy more people need to use a stall than ever need to use a urinal in their lives.
I’d love to hear it explained if you’d be open to that. I want to be about to better understand this.
