- Comment on [Serious] If a human is trained by AI slop and then they make something with their own hands, is it still art? 1 week ago:
This is my favorite way to use AI - as a mentor
Being able to quickly learn new coding languages, translate what I know from one to another and get advice on code structure etc has been super helpful; meanwhile I remain the one writing the actual code
- Comment on Do you preorder games? 2 weeks ago:
I pre-order some games, especially table top, through crowdfunding and do enjoy interacting with developers and their early player base during beta testing / early access especially if I’m able to contribute in some way.
- Comment on What game is a guilty pleasure of yours? 1 month ago:
Polarity
You’re essentially just trying to make less mistakes then your opponent but the semi-hovering magnets have an awesome table presence
- Comment on Is it normal to feel intense fear when in the presense of any sort of yelling / loud arguments? 1 month ago:
Yep, same
- Comment on When kids come trick-or-treating, what happens if I choose trick? 2 months ago:
I did an Uno Reverse one year where I had one of these ready to catch them off guard:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSrPp40lHVY&pp=ygUYZnV6en…I had a few extras to give away if they chose trick. Was fun times especially the poor few kiddos that reacted more strongly to seeing it sudden slither out of my hand hahaha.
- Comment on Why would I buy this? 2 months ago:
Just nabbed Necesse now that it’s out of early access; looking forward to playing with my kiddos :)
- Comment on N++ — 10th anniversary update 2 months ago:
Man… I spent a lot of time playing the original N along with some level design. Super fun times. Cool to see them still going strong.

Kiddos took interest in Beyond All Reason so have gotten back into that one again. Just practicing against bots so far; good times regardless.
Also figured out firewall settings to play online with Mario Kart Wii Deluxe so that one’s been dominating use of the TV.

I’ve had this guy for a couple years now: a.co/d/ggaW5BS
Few butter patties and some kernels then salt once done; works great
- Comment on After a disastrous opening, The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim heads to digital on Dec 27th 1 year ago:
Agreed. I only knew about it from a post here on Lemmy. No one that I mentioned it to IRL (including other LotR fans) had even heard of it. Took my son-in-law to see it in theater and enjoyed it.

Yeah most of my skills are in the 40’s aside from fishing and foraging from lots of magnet fishing

Total level 443 so far and while the core loop was already good the new content has really elevated the experience
