It is good. People seem to love it, but as someone who mostly plays RPGs and hasn’t played much single player FPS (at least not recently), I can’t really judge how it stands with other games in the genre.
I think it took me 6-7 hours to finish it, and I wouldn’t have minded it if it was even twice as long. So that is good. And yeah, there is some of that military drama too.
Would love to hear your opinion, if you do get around to playing it.

I played CoD today too. Finished Modern Warfare Remastered campaign. It wasn’t very long, I think took me 3 days to finish it.
I have CoD WWII too, haven’t heard much about it’s campaign before, but it sounds good, so will give it a try too.

Interesting. Once you are in the game, I think it’s all Epic servers, so should work, but it’s possible there’s still some weird PSN connection that may stop it from working.

Yeah, it’s showing me and some friends online. Can chat, but still having problem with online games.

Yeah, that is why I specifically mentioned “good”. I don’t want my wish to come true with garbage AAA game 😀

Those sound effects!
Thanks for sharing.

I didn’t mean a tycoon game. I think a 3rd Person RPG will be the best option, but even a first person shooter can work with good story and mechanics. Or even a 3rd person action / adventure narrative game, something like Uncharted (as in similar genre).
Though, I won’t mind a tycoon game either. And if it can have voice acting by the SG-1 cast, that would be super cool too.

Now if only we can get a good, “real”, Stargate game.

This only effects playing on Windows, which in turn only hurts Windows, which is pretty much a monopoly, so not much of an issue there.
Personally I don’t care too much about Windows, just happy that Linux is finally getting some foothold. Nothing wrong with having both Window and SteamOS/Linux gaming systems.
- Comment on The Auto Sort Is Broken, a game where you play an RPG store owner that organizes NPC players' inventories while listening to their adventure stories, released on Steam 4 weeks ago:
Heh, I hate this inventory management in the games, but there is a separate game for it now, and it seems interesting. Why!?

It’s not for “normal” people, it’s for die-hard fans in their community, a little brain teaser / clue hunt. For the rest of us, there’ll be a proper announcement and a trailer.
Different things for different people.

Yeah, main story itself wasn’t bad, it was all the side stuff I couldn’t get myself into. I did finish the game, but gave up on all side stuff around mid way.

I like Assassin’s Creed games, loved 2, enjoyed 3, and 4 is considered the best, but for some reason I couldn’t get into it. It’s possible that I have changed, cause I played 2 and 3 closer to launch, and 4 only in last couple of years.
Not sure if I should continue with the rest of the series, specially Origins etc. heard they are very bloated. Maybe I’ll give Mirage or Shadows a try.

As someone who hasn’t played RDR 2 (or online) yet, I was guessing Skyrim 😀

Completely agree with you, but MS is doing this for money too, they just think it’s a strategy that works better for them, specially because they are selling least amount of consoles.

That’s good, I liked Fallout Shelter, but wanted more depth. Though, some of the other comments are making me think it might be too complex. Still, seems like worth a try!

Haven’t played DF, but this sounds complex.

Is this like Fallout shelter?
- Comment on Do you have any recommendations for casual games? 2 months ago:
Try some cozy games, like Animal Crossing, or any of the dozens of other farming / crafting games. If you want 3D, Slime Rancher is a good option in this category.
Destide has already mentioned Stardew Valley, which is also a great choice.
You can also try some not-difficult side-scrolling game, like Rayman Legends, it has some difficult levels, but most of the game is very chill.

- Comment on Sony Working on Handheld Console for PS5 Games to Rival Switch [Bloomberg] 2 months ago:
I wasn’t talking about 3rd party, there are enough of them that will run on a PS4 level hardware as long as we don’t count new AAA. Problem is first party games. If there are no first party games, then on what basis can it compete with Steam Deck or upcoming Switch 2?
- Comment on Sony Working on Handheld Console for PS5 Games to Rival Switch [Bloomberg] 2 months ago:
They have just released a beta of streaming directly from cloud. Don’t know if there are any limitations, but if everything goes well, it may release officially in a few months.
