Oh, I do. What’s the point of having kids if you can’t embarrass them with outdated memes. 😀

Heh, if this is your first comment, I laud your commitment to wait till 667th day.

(Sorry, I have young kids)

It was highly requested. (Well, at least there was more than one comment asking for it 😁)

Gorgeous!

Yeah, maybe if the previous areas weren’t so beautiful this will look great, but after playing those this feels pretty meh.
- Comment on Day 665 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 2 weeks ago:
As far as visuals are concerned, I didn’t like this frozen area much. It lacked the colours and beauty of the earlier parts of the game.

I haven’t played Smash as much as I would’ve liked, but looking forward to what would be next in the series. Like all such games, would love good single player content.

40% sales still came from Switch 2, but you are right, without Switch 1 it wouldn’t have reached such sales so soon.

Thanks for the trust! Jedi Fallen Order is on easier side of soulslike (generally speaking), but it gives you some idea of how to tackle combat in these games.
Would be interesting to see your perspective on the game, whenever you get around to it.
- Comment on Day 658 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 3 weeks ago:
I think the difficulty is overrated, which is not to say it’s an easy game, but you just have to be more deliberate with your actions. Instead of just mashing buttons, you have to be mindful of enemy’s actions and keep your stamina in mind.
Of course, no guarantees that everyone will like it, but I think people shouldn’t skip it just because of it’s reputation of difficulty. For instance, I know people who have finished Dead Cells but never tried Dark Souls because of the difficulty, while I have finished Dark Souls, but was never able to beat even the first boss of Dead Cells 😀
In short, the game is difficult, but not that difficult, and worth at least trying it once.

If you haven’t played it, it’s a good game. Worth giving a try at least.
You should, not sure how much of a photography community there is on lemmy, but it can be worth a shot.

That first image was pretty good, took me quite a while to guess the game. And only did that because I know you are playing Ghost of Tsushima. My original thought was something like Dark Souls.
Nice goose pick, is there a “Day XX of posting a Daily picture from the photos I’ve been taking” in future?
- Comment on 5 weeks ago:
You are right, I missed that, my bad.

I think the part about Marvel Snap is just his obsession, not that its indie.
The indie publisher thing is debatable though, as the term indie has kind of evolved. Indie publishers, IMO, are publishers that specialise in publishing games developed by indie studios.

Great game! Haven’t played in over a decade (or two?) though, so not sure how it hold up these days.

Just wait for a good sale. Consoles sales aren’t as good as Steam sales, and Sony games don’t get as deep sales as Ubisoft games, but you can still get them at less than half the price in an year or two.

This is about their own first party games (not counting Pokémon) and they are on proper carts, not key-cards.
- Comment on is black myth wokong a good game? 2 months ago:
Watch some reviews to get some idea about it. I have friends who think it should’ve won the GOTY award, and I have friends who dropped it because it wasn’t good.
The game had performance issues though, so make sure it runs well on your system.

Have you watched the show Twin Peaks? I heard that Bright Falls is very similar to the one in show, and apparently it has somewhat similar vibe.
- Comment on 2 months ago:
It does, but it’s about respecting the wishes of original creator. They want to keep working with him so don’t want to mess up their long term relation with a short term benefit.

I can’t get him out of my camp.
This guy comes when you are building something. You probably need to pay more bells before he can complete his work. Dont’ recall if you need to talk to him or go to Town Center and talk to Tom Nook / Isabelle.
My bridge I started is coming alone okay ish. It’s almost 200,000 bells so I’m finding it hard to actually pay for it.
Ah, well that’s why he is there then 😀
After taking care of all the main stuff, we decided to redecorate the whole island and move all the houses, didn’t want to spend too much time earning money so I “cheated” and got into Turnip business. Made tons of money. There used to be online apps where you could enter details of your island and it’s weather for few days and it would deduce the seed of your island, giving you details of turnip prices and when the meteor shower will be etc.
There was also a discord where people shared the prices of turnip in their island, so people would go to island with low rate and then go to island with high rate and sell it there.

- Comment on BREAKING: PlayStation is shutting down Bluepoint Games (Demon's Souls/Shadow of the Colossus remakes) 3 months ago:
Let’s assume it was the studio’s idea. They wanted to make a game that wasn’t their specialty and Sony let them do it because they didn’t want to stifle creativity. Now it failed miserably.
Sony isn’t going to get the money they lost, so why not course correct and put the studio on what they specialise in?

It would be so fun if they keep the name “Untitled John Wick Game”, like Project Octopath Traveler.
