- Comment on You Pay For It, We Own It - Sony's $7.9B Lawsuit 6 days ago:
Good luck to that lawsuit!
I’ve nothing against Sony, but I want some of these companies to lose some of these cases just to remind them that we should own what we buy.
- Comment on Sony boss admits forcing PC gamers into PlayStation accounts can "invite pushback," but insists they have to keep games safe – which doesn't really track in single-player 1 week ago:
I don’t see in what way having a PSN account would make Horizon Zero Dawn safer on PC.
But I also wouldn’t mind so much if the few PC games I’d buy from Sony were linked to my PSN account as I’ve been a Playstation gamer since the first console.
Still, I wouldn’t want every publisher to require an account to play…
- Comment on Whatever happened to racing games 3 weeks ago:
What I find crazy is that on Playstation you got Gran Turismo in 2022 I think and there’ll be no other concurrent until Asseto Corsa Evo in probably 2026.
I’ve already so many hours of going around the Ring in GT7, but I’d really h’love an extension with a new career mode and new trophies until Asseto Corsa Evo.
- Comment on Nostalgia and remake culture 3 weeks ago:
Well the magic of a remake is that you can still poay the old game if you’re not happy with it😅
- Comment on Nostalgia and remake culture 3 weeks ago:
I have no problem with remakes as long as they aren’t just trying to grab some cash from you without any work.
I’ve really enjoyed the Final Fantasy VII remakes or the Planet of the Apes remakes. Yes they aren’t perfect, but it feels like some passion was put into these projects.
As long as we aren’t just getting remakes, I have nothing against it. And sometimes remakes even have more originality than another generic game.
- Comment on PS5's 'Resume Activity' Feature Apparently Gone for Good - PlayStation LifeStyle 4 weeks ago:
Could be for some games, but it doesn’t apply to games which had the resume activities and were still exposing you a thousand times to the same screens.
Also, at this point, they don’t know what game mode you’re gonna play so I don’t think they can load much except the general menu.
- Comment on PS5's 'Resume Activity' Feature Apparently Gone for Good - PlayStation LifeStyle 4 weeks ago:
What I really don’t understand is how crazy it is in 2024 to have to go through the same screen telling you who’s the developer and publisher of the game even after 150 hours of playing time.
I think we should have an option to go to certain parts of the game directly in the welcome screen from your Playstation.
- Comment on Khris Middleton Out for Opener 4 weeks ago:
He’s so good when healthy.
If everyone is healthy, the Bucks can have 1-2 last runs before Lopez-Lillard-Midfleton are too old.
I wanna see them succeed as I’d love to see Giannis remain a buck until he retires.
- Comment on [Shams] Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody has agreed to a three-year, $39 million rookie contract extension 4 weeks ago:
I’d love it if the Warriors managed to stay competitive the way the Spurs did after Duncan’s retirement.
Also it would be nice to see the warriors have a great season.
- Comment on [Shams] Brooklyn Nets are waiving former No. 7 pick Killian Hayes 4 weeks ago:
French point guards are often struggling in the nba. I think it’s because they aren’t scorers, but they could be really good in Europe.
- Comment on NBA Rumors: Kawhi Leonard Out Indefinitely to Start 2024-25 Season amid Knee Injury 5 weeks ago:
At this point I’m giving up on his career. You can’t build around him anymore.
He could still help a contender as a third or fourth option though.
Such a shame.
- Comment on Shams: Lonzo Ball returning to action vs Minnesota on Wednesday after 2 years of injury rehab 5 weeks ago:
I wish him well as he’s a great player when healthy.
- Comment on Tucker Stepping Away from LAC 1 month ago:
I haven’t read the article but I guess he doesn’t want to give up on his money. I think his contract is wort 11.5 million dollars.
- Comment on [Tom Warren] The PS5 Pro still hasn’t sold out in the US or UK. Looks like the $700 price point will mean this console will be readily available this holiday 1 month ago:
Playing Killzone 3 right now and I still find it impressive despite having a PlayStation 5.
- Comment on Towns to New york 1 month ago:
Yeah and if I’m not mistaken, Randle is soon gonna be a free agent so they don’t have to keep him if he doesn’t fit.
I think the trade is good for both sides even if I’d have wanted Randle to stay with the knocks for a while for a nice story.
- Comment on Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater Official Trailer | TGS 2024 1 month ago:
I’ve watched the trailer and it doesn’t look good enough to justify buying the remake I think.
I also fear that I may just be too old for Metal Gear. I used to love them though and I’ve played all of them at least 3 times, except the fifth one which was just a huge disappointment.
- Comment on What are your favorite racing games? 2 months ago:
I really enjoy Gran Turismo 7 even if it lacks a proper career mode and the AI isn’t good.
Looking forward to Asseto Corsa 2 as people were really happy with the first one and I haven’t played it.
- Comment on Where are the improvements in AAA games? 2 months ago:
I feel like the problem right now is that we have too many open worlds as if every game needed to be one.
As much as the ps3-xbox 360 era was the FPS Era, the PS5-Xbox X is the open world era.
I hope that soon we will go back to more variety.
Right now I’ve adopted a rythm where I force myself to play a linear game between every open world.
- Comment on After 350,000 signatures in an EU consumer rights campaign, Ubisoft is adding offline modes to The Crew games - but not the now-dead original 2 months ago:
I really hope that something gets done about games not being playable anymore. This is really important for the sake of our hobby and clearly not acceptable.
I could understand how multiplayer games would be harder to maintain 20 years after their release, but there is no excuse for solo games.
- Comment on Tune in tomorrow for a PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation hosted by Mark Cerny 2 months ago:
I really don’t see the point, but I’m not against it as long as it doesn’t lower anything we’d be getting on normal ps5.
At least for the ps4 and ps4 Pro, I didn’t feel like the ps4 pro created a problem for regular ps4 games.
- Comment on Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray has agreed on a four-year, $208 million maximum contract extension 2 months ago:
I hope he can get healthy again and bring back the Nuggets to the summits as I like the fact that it’s a team built from the draft but without tanking.
- Comment on How to decide what kind of controller one should purchase? 2 months ago:
I love the ps5 controller but I’m now kind of scared about stick drift as one of mine had to be replaced because of it.
The second one doesn’t show any sign of this happening, but I’m not so confident anymore although Sony had never disappointed me before regarding quality.
- Comment on Anyone else feels like rdr2 have no bad missions? 2 months ago:
Loved the world, hated the story, so for me it’s clearly not a masterpiece.
But every tastes are in nature
- Comment on Classic Ubisoft: PS5 players to install an update and restart their save files from scratch due to game-breaking bugs 2 months ago:
It’s crazy because I think this game had people paying more to get it earlier than others.
These people should be highly compensated, like getting some future free games or stuff like this.
I’m not a Ubi Soft hater as I’ve enjoyed some of their games through the years (Watch Dogs 1, Assassin’s Creed 1-2, Splinter Cell), but such things make me understand why people hate them.
- Comment on Avowed Runs at 30fps on Xbox Series X and S, Obsidian Confirms 2 months ago:
I think people give too much importance to such things.
I’m not saying 60fps isn’t nice, but it ain’t the most important thing and I feel like drawing distance or stuff like this are more distracting.
For me it’s crazy to still have racing games where shadows or trees are still appearing too late or where things are just abnormally disappearing in the rear view mirror.
- Comment on Day 32 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots 2 months ago:
Well I never tried driving through a chain link as it would just destroy your car in real life and you might get really injured if the chain is solid enough 😅
- Comment on Day 32 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots 2 months ago:
Lovely game with a great story!
The downside was that the interviews were sometimes a bit awkward and you were supposed to use non verbal cues to get clues about someone lying or not. It was a tad too ambitious I guess, as even in real life you can’t really guess.
- Comment on TitanFall 2 at 3$ 3 months ago:
This game is really great and its length make it enjoyable many times.
I played 2 years ago when I was still on PlayStation 4 and it looked great.
The soundtrack is also great to listen to.
One of my favorite FOS of the last decade with the killzone and wolfenstein series.
- Comment on Day 17 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I’ve been playing until I forget to post Screenshots 3 months ago:
Pretty proud of myself for recognizing the game 😇
- Comment on Devs should not be "forced to run on a treadmill until their mental or physical health breaks", says publisher of Manor Lords, citing how gamers seem to be trained to expect endless content work now 4 months ago:
I’d almost love if games were released and getting no updates after that. But only if the games are released in a complete state.
I hate the fact that you shouldn’t play some games as soon as they are released, because you’d be playing the inferior version.
That needs to change.
