- Comment on Exodus, the new game being led by BioWare veteran James Ohlen, finally reveals some gameplay, and boy it sure looks like Mass Effect 4 days ago:
I loved Mass Effect but I ain’t so enthusiastic about what I’m seeing for now…
- Comment on The Last of Us Part II Remastered PC Announcement Trailer 1 week ago:
I’m intrigued about this one. I’d still want another Last Of Us though.
- Comment on The Last of Us Part II Remastered PC Announcement Trailer 1 week ago:
If it’s the first time Last Of Us 2 coles out on PC, I don’t see the problem.
It’s a masterpiece and I’d want everyone to enjoy it.
But, now, Naughty Dog really has to do something else than remasters.
I’d love a third Last Of Us, but it could also stop on such a great note.
- Comment on New report claims gamers spend more time watching videos about gaming than playing games 2 weeks ago:
Clearly, sometimes watching a TV show or a Youtube video is way less demanding than gaming.
I don’t know if it’s good or bad, but it’s my reality.
I also know that I really love immersing myself into story driven games, so playing a few minutes before cooking the meal isn’t an option.
- Comment on In a bit of a pre upgrade slump, what do you recommend? 3 weeks ago:
Yeah these games are great, although clearly not perfect.
I enjoy them but some buggy technical aspects in the second one are quite distracting.
But you have a lot to explore in an interesting way.
They remind my of the first new God of War but in a Star Wars world.
- Comment on [Documentary] The blood on our Controllers - The Complicity of the Game Industry in the Palestinian Genocide 3 weeks ago:
I might have a look at it with my fiancé who’s not at all into gaming, but really invested in fighting against the palestinian genocide
- Comment on Microsoft Confirms Windows 11 Update Kills Star Wars Outlaws, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and Other Ubisoft Games 3 weeks ago:
If it’s related to anticheat, I wonder how they do it on consoles.
Probably, it’s not needed because consoles are more locked down I guess…
- Comment on Bloomberg: Sony Interactive Entertainment working on portable PS5 3 weeks ago:
I have a Switch that I’m almost never using (nor my kids), but yeah the idea is great.
I’d love a similar concept from Sony even if it’d just be a copy.
If only I enjoyed nintendo games as much as sony games.
- Comment on Bloomberg: Sony Interactive Entertainment working on portable PS5 3 weeks ago:
Nah it’s never gonna be able to play steam games as Sony is making money on the games it’s selling and not the hardware.
I think the advantage it would have over the Steam Deck is that you wouldn’t have to tinker to get games playing as it’d just be a normal console.
Personally, as a console gamer, I feel more and more attracted by Linux gaming, but I don’t think I’ll make the jump until physical games are gone for good.
- Comment on You Pay For It, We Own It - Sony's $7.9B Lawsuit 5 weeks ago:
Good luck to that lawsuit!
I’ve nothing against Sony, but I want some of these companies to lose some of these cases just to remind them that we should own what we buy.
- Comment on Sony boss admits forcing PC gamers into PlayStation accounts can "invite pushback," but insists they have to keep games safe – which doesn't really track in single-player 1 month ago:
I don’t see in what way having a PSN account would make Horizon Zero Dawn safer on PC.
But I also wouldn’t mind so much if the few PC games I’d buy from Sony were linked to my PSN account as I’ve been a Playstation gamer since the first console.
Still, I wouldn’t want every publisher to require an account to play…
- Comment on Whatever happened to racing games 1 month ago:
What I find crazy is that on Playstation you got Gran Turismo in 2022 I think and there’ll be no other concurrent until Asseto Corsa Evo in probably 2026.
I’ve already so many hours of going around the Ring in GT7, but I’d really h’love an extension with a new career mode and new trophies until Asseto Corsa Evo.
- Comment on Nostalgia and remake culture 1 month ago:
Well the magic of a remake is that you can still poay the old game if you’re not happy with it😅
- Comment on Nostalgia and remake culture 1 month ago:
I have no problem with remakes as long as they aren’t just trying to grab some cash from you without any work.
I’ve really enjoyed the Final Fantasy VII remakes or the Planet of the Apes remakes. Yes they aren’t perfect, but it feels like some passion was put into these projects.
As long as we aren’t just getting remakes, I have nothing against it. And sometimes remakes even have more originality than another generic game.
- Comment on PS5's 'Resume Activity' Feature Apparently Gone for Good - PlayStation LifeStyle 1 month ago:
Could be for some games, but it doesn’t apply to games which had the resume activities and were still exposing you a thousand times to the same screens.
Also, at this point, they don’t know what game mode you’re gonna play so I don’t think they can load much except the general menu.
- Comment on PS5's 'Resume Activity' Feature Apparently Gone for Good - PlayStation LifeStyle 1 month ago:
What I really don’t understand is how crazy it is in 2024 to have to go through the same screen telling you who’s the developer and publisher of the game even after 150 hours of playing time.
I think we should have an option to go to certain parts of the game directly in the welcome screen from your Playstation.
- Comment on Khris Middleton Out for Opener 1 month ago:
He’s so good when healthy.
If everyone is healthy, the Bucks can have 1-2 last runs before Lopez-Lillard-Midfleton are too old.
I wanna see them succeed as I’d love to see Giannis remain a buck until he retires.
- Comment on [Shams] Golden State Warriors guard Moses Moody has agreed to a three-year, $39 million rookie contract extension 1 month ago:
I’d love it if the Warriors managed to stay competitive the way the Spurs did after Duncan’s retirement.
Also it would be nice to see the warriors have a great season.
- Comment on [Shams] Brooklyn Nets are waiving former No. 7 pick Killian Hayes 2 months ago:
French point guards are often struggling in the nba. I think it’s because they aren’t scorers, but they could be really good in Europe.
- Comment on NBA Rumors: Kawhi Leonard Out Indefinitely to Start 2024-25 Season amid Knee Injury 2 months ago:
At this point I’m giving up on his career. You can’t build around him anymore.
He could still help a contender as a third or fourth option though.
Such a shame.
- Comment on Shams: Lonzo Ball returning to action vs Minnesota on Wednesday after 2 years of injury rehab 2 months ago:
I wish him well as he’s a great player when healthy.
- Comment on Tucker Stepping Away from LAC 2 months ago:
I haven’t read the article but I guess he doesn’t want to give up on his money. I think his contract is wort 11.5 million dollars.
- Comment on [Tom Warren] The PS5 Pro still hasn’t sold out in the US or UK. Looks like the $700 price point will mean this console will be readily available this holiday 2 months ago:
Playing Killzone 3 right now and I still find it impressive despite having a PlayStation 5.
- Comment on Towns to New york 2 months ago:
Yeah and if I’m not mistaken, Randle is soon gonna be a free agent so they don’t have to keep him if he doesn’t fit.
I think the trade is good for both sides even if I’d have wanted Randle to stay with the knocks for a while for a nice story.
- Comment on Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater Official Trailer | TGS 2024 2 months ago:
I’ve watched the trailer and it doesn’t look good enough to justify buying the remake I think.
I also fear that I may just be too old for Metal Gear. I used to love them though and I’ve played all of them at least 3 times, except the fifth one which was just a huge disappointment.
- Comment on What are your favorite racing games? 2 months ago:
I really enjoy Gran Turismo 7 even if it lacks a proper career mode and the AI isn’t good.
Looking forward to Asseto Corsa 2 as people were really happy with the first one and I haven’t played it.
- Comment on Where are the improvements in AAA games? 3 months ago:
I feel like the problem right now is that we have too many open worlds as if every game needed to be one.
As much as the ps3-xbox 360 era was the FPS Era, the PS5-Xbox X is the open world era.
I hope that soon we will go back to more variety.
Right now I’ve adopted a rythm where I force myself to play a linear game between every open world.
- Comment on After 350,000 signatures in an EU consumer rights campaign, Ubisoft is adding offline modes to The Crew games - but not the now-dead original 3 months ago:
I really hope that something gets done about games not being playable anymore. This is really important for the sake of our hobby and clearly not acceptable.
I could understand how multiplayer games would be harder to maintain 20 years after their release, but there is no excuse for solo games.
- Comment on Tune in tomorrow for a PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation hosted by Mark Cerny 3 months ago:
I really don’t see the point, but I’m not against it as long as it doesn’t lower anything we’d be getting on normal ps5.
At least for the ps4 and ps4 Pro, I didn’t feel like the ps4 pro created a problem for regular ps4 games.
- Comment on Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray has agreed on a four-year, $208 million maximum contract extension 3 months ago:
I hope he can get healthy again and bring back the Nuggets to the summits as I like the fact that it’s a team built from the draft but without tanking.
