Great news!
If only I could sign it. Keep going EU citizens!
- Comment on Yep, I actually own 7,255 games on Steam. I’ve played 23% of my library. I regret nothing. 5 days ago:
I guess for arcade games it’s logical, but it doesn’t apply to games like Heavy Rain, Last Of Us, Uncharted or Final Fantasy.
But I guess every one behaves differently and enjoys different things.
I’m just worried when I see my 8 year old son trying a new game every time he faces a challenge in the previous one.

Well for me it’s like starting 40 books, 40 movies or 40 songs and not finishing them.
If it’s a story driven game, I would never picture myself not finishing it unless I don’t enjoy it.
Also I see the starting something and not finishing it as a result of the short attention spans generation, but I might be getting old at 38😅

Well I’m happy for you if owning so many games makes you happy as it supports a hobby I love.
Personnaly, I think that not finishing so many of your games shows some kind of problem, but I’m not a psychologist. Owning so many too…
I might even have the inverted problem as I feel like it’s an obligation for me to finish a game unless I don’t like it.
- Comment on Sony faces another class-action lawsuit over PlayStation Store prices and monopolistic practices 1 week ago:
Agreed but you can play only offline without missing on much. I currently have the ps plus for a few more months, but I’m dropping it as the only one playing online is my son and hés playing fortnite.
But, if you’re an online player, it’s gonna be cheaper to play on pc.
- Comment on Sony faces another class-action lawsuit over PlayStation Store prices and monopolistic practices 1 week ago:
I totally agree and it’s a pleasure to read someone who’s able to talk about the advantages of each side.
- Comment on Sony faces another class-action lawsuit over PlayStation Store prices and monopolistic practices 1 week ago:
Well I bought my ps5 a while ago, but I think that despite the price increase, it’s still cheaper than a comparable PC.
As for the no fuss experience, my Steam Deck, which I love and have had for a few month, has already given more to tinker and solve than my ps5 in a few years.
I just think that the Playstation experience isn’t as good and cheap as it used to be compared to PC.
- Comment on Sony faces another class-action lawsuit over PlayStation Store prices and monopolistic practices 2 weeks ago:
To be honest that would just be the end of the consoles system as there is a reason Sony is selling the PS5 for so cheap.
As much as I understand why Apple shouldn’t be allowed to keep everything in the Apple Store, Sony’s situation isn’t the same.

Same for me, no Switzerland option.
So I can only encourage EU citizens to do it.
- Comment on Asus and Lenovo’s handhelds get price hike as Valve pauses some Steam Deck sales 4 weeks ago:
As much as I don’t enjoy Nintendo games and consoles anymore, I don’t think you can blame them for not creating new experiences.
Even the Switch 2 is creating a new way to play with its controls.
You can’t really say this about the Playstation 5 (which I own) or the Series X.

I loved it but I ain’t buying it a second time!
- Comment on Nintendo reserves the right to brick your console following "unauthorised use", in bid to prevent piracy 1 month ago:
It’s not fair, but I give a pass to Sony as their games are more my type and I’ve always used Sony consoles a lot.
Sony ain’t probably better than Nintendo as a conpany, that’s also why I’m extendibg my reach with Steam Deck gaming in the future.
- Comment on Nintendo reserves the right to brick your console following "unauthorised use", in bid to prevent piracy 1 month ago:
I’ve recently decided to complete all the games we’ve bought on our family Switch before allowing myself to get a Steam Deck alongside my Ps5.
While Nintendo has some very good games, I think I’ll never buy again from them.

So true. And what’s sad is that so many people love these two companies😨
- Comment on Gears of War: Reloaded announced, coming this summer to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 2 months ago:
Finally I’ll be able to replay the first Gears of War.
If it runs on the Steam Deck, I might even play it there instead of on my ps5.

Finally I’m seeing someone giving proof that games were more expensive back in the days.
Of course the gaming market was smaller, but I remember my parents buying me shitty games for a really high price.
I’m not asking for a price increase, but clearly games were more expensive in the 80-90-00s.

Really interesting article! I love reading about manufacturing processes and the business side of gaming.
- Comment on Do you think Square Enix should remake other Final Fantasy entries? 2 months ago:
I think I enabked it, but it’s clearly not the same as the system from the old games.
- Comment on Do you think Square Enix should remake other Final Fantasy entries? 2 months ago:
I’d have loved turn based combat to remain in FF7 remake.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the remake bit it doesn’t feel as tactical as the old one in my memory.

From what I’ve seen there is the Broken Road DLC but it doesn’t bring any new story.
- Comment on Man, I really slept on Days Gone (mini review) 2 months ago:
I really enjoyed it even if the story was a bit bad in some parts (not sure but I remember the beginning being pretty bad). I’d be happy to play a second one if it happened to be developped.

I’m sure the work isn’t gonna be lost and someone might step up.
I know it’s easy to say as I’m doing nothing to help them, but I’m pretty optimistic work is still gonna get done.

Of course a Steam Deck would be better suited, but it’s great to see people pushing the limits of what can be done.
That’s how Linux is gonna be able to save M Macs once they don’t get MacOs updates.

Not that I know of.
I guess my way of seeing the world isn’t shared by so many people.

I love this game except for the fact that it serms having the buggest city is the way to win when having the best quality of lufe and the least environnemental impact would be my way to win. But I guess it’s my green side😅
These games are what’s making me look at PC gaming instead at just Playstation.
- Comment on Last of Us 2 is beautifully animated 2 months ago:
Simply the most beautiful game I’ve ever played (not even on ps5 but on ps4) and one of the greatest too.

Okay I understand now, but I think the formulation could have been better then😇
- Comment on 6* months away now. If you're on 10, do you plan to upgrade? Make the jump to Linux? 2 months ago:
Why? I’ve been running a Surface Go 1 with Fedora since 2020 and I plan on keeping it until 2029 at least.
So I can’t ser the planned obsolescence except if you meant the ability to upgrade its internals…
- Comment on PlayStation’s extraordinary effort to preserve its game-making history 3 months ago:
Yeah I guess so.
That’s why I’ll soon be getting a Steam Deck to sit alongside my Playstation.
It’s my first move towards Linux gaming.
- Comment on PlayStation’s extraordinary effort to preserve its game-making history 3 months ago:
I ain’t so convinced to be honest, but I’m always jeeping an eye on their moves.
Playstation 6 will really reveal a lot about their plans.
We might have a fully retrocompatible console with a (optional) disc drive.
We might also have a digital only console with subscriptions.
Ii it’s the later, I’ll be jumping to Linux gaming.
