  The planes they damaged had nothing at all to do with israel.

  Flying over Palestine and helping the israelis target missles at children sounds like a lot to do with israel.

  police officer suffered possibly life-changing injuries after a PA member attacked them repeatedly with a sledgehammer.

  Of course when the video was released to the courts it showed it was the police officer doing the brutalising on the protester. Not surprising the police would lie.

  Then, expect them to attend violent incidents with nothing but witty banter to protect themselves with?

  The only reason the incident is violent is because of the police. Their lack of attendance will almost always improve an event, and lack of violent weaponry will reduce unnecessary escalations that seem to be intended policy.
