OMG, I am so excited for this. 🥚
- Comment on ‘Snow White’: Rachel Zegler Movie Tunes Up Disney+ Premiere Date 1 week ago:
Not only was this a really bad movie (the Dwarfs!?!) but they also cast an outspoken pro-genocide actor as the evil queen (fitting.) Way to go Disney!
- Comment on Michael B. Jordan Did the Impossible — In an era of mounting crises, the "Sinners" star got people off their couches and into cinemas for an original film 1 week ago:
I agree with your point about it inspiring …better film making and originality, that is sorely needed. However, to see a film doesn’t mean getting back into the theater, especially since theaters started dying/declining even before COVID, dating back in the early 2000’s. Great films aren’t going to save movie houses. Streaming took away all the downsides of seeing a film; cost, audience annoyances, bad food and travel time to see one. They will still be around, like drive-in theaters were for film buffs and nostalgia.
- Comment on ‘Adolescence’ Beats ‘Stranger Things 4’ to Become Netflix’s No. 2 Most-Watched English-Language Series Ever 1 week ago:
OMG, that is funny. Yeah, when they do this sort of camera one take style with drama series, it works.
- Comment on Michael B. Jordan Did the Impossible — In an era of mounting crises, the "Sinners" star got people off their couches and into cinemas for an original film 1 week ago:
It was a really well done movie, interweaving a main story with interesting characters, interweaving time periods, an homage to blues and some blue’s heroes, and at the heart lies a classic horror genre made fresh. This one took me by surprise. I plan on watching it again soon, just to recapture that its essence again.
Now with that said, did it really rescue the film industry? I say no. One great one amongst a flow of mediocre movies you would wait and see at home, does not save the day or the movie theaters.
- Comment on ‘Adolescence’ Beats ‘Stranger Things 4’ to Become Netflix’s No. 2 Most-Watched English-Language Series Ever 1 week ago:
It is a good series, well written and the camera style which is a lot like ‘The Bear’, really puts you in the drama. Very well acted, the kid should have win all kinds of awards. It wasn’t what I thought it was going to be, which was a detective style show/series, oh no. It was snapshot of a something tragic in a family…and you are right there with them.

One of my favorite series. Netflix’s tagline should be, ‘We Cancel, Because We Can!’
- Comment on The Democrats’ One and Only Union-Busting Governor: Jared Polis 2 weeks ago:
This is completely untrue. The workers did not have a choice on any of the demands (hence reason for striking) or the settlement. They had no choice. To me, that is not a good job. You sound like a neo-liberal.
- Comment on The Democrats’ One and Only Union-Busting Governor: Jared Polis 2 weeks ago:
Low effort answer. ☝️

Does it really matter? They are all the DNC…union busters.
- Comment on AMC Entertainment Sets Memorial Day Holiday-Weekend Records for Admissions Revenue, Food and Beverage Revenue, and Total Revenue, on the Way to AMC’s Biggest Revenue Weekend So Far in 2025 2 weeks ago:
So, they had one of the WORST memorial day weekends in history last year. I guess it is a wash? Good luck with that, they are burning through what little capital they have until the bank notes come due in 2026. Then we will see how they stand financially. Are those the bells sounding bankruptcy?
- Comment on Ryan Gosling Eyed for Ghost Rider; Iger Unhappy with 2026 MCU Slate 2 weeks ago:
LOL, I like the Gosling, he has a sarcastic tone about his performances. Probably won’t go to the theater to see it, but it will be a popcorn fest on the couch.
- Comment on ‘Harry Potter’ HBO Series Casts Harry, Ron and Hermione 2 weeks ago:
Because they plan to restart the whole enchilada, so I am guessing they expect 7 seasons.
- Comment on Between ‘MobLand’ and ‘The Gentlemen,’ Guy Ritchie Is Coming for Taylor Sheridan’s TV Crown 2 weeks ago:
Some of his earlier work was …questionable, but I love his movies and series. I think the studio execs got in his way, as with a lot of good directors. I look forward to more of his offerings.
- Comment on The Democrats’ One and Only Union-Busting Governor: Jared Polis 2 weeks ago:
“One and only?” Joe Biden literally busted the railroad union just a few years ago and the majority of the dems/dnc supported it. I smell some re-writing of history up in here.

- Comment on 'The Last of Us' Season 2 Finale Viewership Down 55% From Season 1 2 weeks ago:
Yes, agree. Star Trek Discovery turned into the most mind numbing soap opera as each season progressed, to the point it had nothing really to do with the Star Trek genre. It should have been re-titled ‘As The Worlds Turn.’
- Comment on 'The Last of Us' Season 2 Finale Viewership Down 55% From Season 1 2 weeks ago:
Well, when you remove one of the fan favorites…🤷♂️. Also, the second season has been very dramatic and emotional, some good writing there, but it is slowing turning into the soap opera drama effect that Walking Dead suffered from after season one. Little monsters, more drama = soap opera.
- Comment on Trump wants tariffs on ‘foreign’ movies. But there’s a reason no one wants to shoot in Los Angeles. 2 weeks ago:
Not just LA, but CA as a whole. It is too expensive, filled with red tape and financial waste. I think at this point, it is a lost cause, much like our gov’t. Too many hands at play digging into the money to ever over-change the system. CA is no different, maybe the worst of the example. Hollywood is dead. They are starting to film in other states, like TX, even NY is cheaper.
- Comment on Hush over Hollywood: why has it become so hard to make films in Los Angeles? 2 weeks ago:
Welcome to CAL-E-YOUCANTAFFORDIT. Everything is expensive here, but we got beaches.

- Comment on Amazon has canceled its Wheel of Time series 3 weeks ago:
Pacing was like walking through a lake of mud. Still deserved a proper finale. Amazon is the new Netflix of cancelled series.
- Comment on ‘MobLand’ Emmys Shakeup: Tom Hardy and Pierce Brosnan Both Submitted for Lead Drama Actor, Helen Mirren Goes for Supporting 3 weeks ago:

Love this show, it is my new favorite, and he and his character are especially awesome.
- Comment on ‘The Wheel Of Time’ Canceled By Prime Video After 3 Seasons 3 weeks ago:
They took forever to build out the characters and the story. Good production for a series, but had the worst pacing. Sadly, their build up now leaves you hanging. I am not sure why Amazon is cancelling their series, without proper finales. I am guessing this has to do with overspending on Bond.
- Comment on Official Poster for "Jurassic World Rebirth" 3 weeks ago:
The poster is very CGI low effort. I can’t wait to stream this at home.
- Comment on "Wish I Had an Explanation" - Kevin Bacon Releases a Statement About 'The Bondsman' Cancellation 3 weeks ago:
I watched the whole series in one sitting, loved it. Sad that Amazon cancelled it. They are becoming like Netflix.
