Commas.

Let me clarify, I will not be purchasing this game if I want to play it.

There’s that series of pictures taken on a street that shows a comparison of how much space it takes to move 60 or so people in cars vs a bus vs bicycles. Obviously, the cars take up vastly more space than the other two.
Walking shouldn’t be the only other option. The influence of car and oil companies has created a car dependent dystopia in North America, where it seems like it’s either car or walk. But it’s really the same as the trash problem. If trash bins were freeways, we don’t need more of them, we need to be more efficient at moving people, essentially reducing the trash.

Perhaps one should ask why there is so much trash to be thrown away in the first place.
Bins wouldn’t always be full if there was simply less trash to put in them.

Right, and if I do I won’t be buying it.

Imagine if they took all that ‘piracy prevention’ effort (that doesn’t really work in the end) and put it towards actually making enjoyable games.

Hmm, I’ve found it quite noticeable. Perhaps turn an FPS counter on and see what it’s actually running at. If you have a game showing on both screens, it’ll likely limit the fps to suit the lowest display hz.

If the two are beside eachother, you’ll definitely see the difference.

Alright. You do you.

Unless the feature of the view is nearly straight up from the window, properly designed awnings don’t block the view at all.
- Comment on Awnings: a simple cooling tech we apparently forgot about 5 months ago:
Interior shades aren’t nearly as effective as exterior. Once that sun gets through the window, it’s already giving that next interior surface quite a bit of heat.
There are many styles of awning or other shading elements. You can have metal slats or what looks like a wood box that comes out horizontally over the window. I’m sure something could fit your house’s aesthetic. And perhaps ask your wife what value she’d put on thermal comfort.
Looking for shading elements or shading strategies might get broader results than simply sheet metal or fabric awnings.
- Comment on Awnings: a simple cooling tech we apparently forgot about 5 months ago:
Awnings don’t have to be a piece of fabric flapping in the wind. Wood, metal, extended roof overhangs, a deciduous tree, really anything that provides exterior shade to a window will be quite effective at reducing interior heating.

They’re really getting out of reach.

Any of the main games by Quantic Dream are of similar artful quality I’d say. Really a playable story with choices impacting the plot and twists and discovery that keeps you hooked. I liked Beyond: Two Souls the best, but Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human aren’t far behind.
Life is Strange is great in that same vein too.
