I relate to the struggle, I feel like they can really heap a lot of pressure on people, especially the young, without really developing coping skills in them
I have just had to scale back on a lot of things to avoid trouble, which literally no one has been supportive of, but I would rather be lower stress with more freedom than have overwhelmed myself and did something think this
yeah, I think it's a destructive kind of zero sum attitude in our culture that you're either the winner and CEO or are a loser
but you can be a winner and "CEO" symbolically in whatever niche you're the best at
like in sports, of soccer, we need a goalie, and players on the field, someone to design stadiums, someone to maintain or install the field, someone to clean up after games, take tickets...
on each level someone can do a good job and be the "best" at what they do, and we can't really have the whole without someone doing their job on each of the parts.
The other thing is some people don't realize just how much failure and struggle has gone on behind the scenes in a lot of "successful" people's lives, which you can learn if you read people's biographies.

Everyone is so intent on who the CEO is, but nobody thinks to ask if they'd actually want to be the CEO.
Fact is, most people wouldn't want to do that job, because they have parts of their lives that aren't work that are more important.
