So is the Taliban. Lots of experience. Don't think China or US wants them to help out in a military operation.
Modern armies are a proud, professionally trained symbol of the nation. To rely on untrained thugs is an admission they have neither pride nor competence.
Practically, a couple thousand thugs without tanks, jets etc won't make a dent. Symbolically, it makes the Russian army look like a clownshow.

No idea. Its been incredibly shitty on both sides. Russian losses ~3000 troops, 500+ vehicles, jets, copters. Euromaidan map from today ( https://nitter.net/pic/media%2FFMeWSViXoAIv6Eh.jpg%3Fname%3Dorig ) shows they made small advances aside from Kiev, which is close to Belarus. For day 1 of a Blitzkrieg with overwhelming forces, its a shitshow for the Russians. In return, they bombed some asphalt tarmacs and sheds called "airbases", which don't matter because UA had a negligible airforce that disappeared in a couple hours.
UA citizens bombed, Russian convoys slaughtered driving on highways, Russians fucked Chernobyl and radioactivity spiked.
Who is winning ? No one.

I hope China stays the fuck out of Taiwan after this. Some people saying China is waiting to see what happens to Russia and then they are gonna invade Taiwan.
