  Canada is a strange system... A federal monarchy, with a parliamentary president that can't be impeached unless MPs defect. The NDP-Liberal regime is evil.

    Ironically, this whole situation has made me more left-wing in the sense of it makes me want to change the political system to separate the head of the executive from the legislature.

      Ironically, the Queen would make a far better leader than any of her prime ministers and premiers around the world, but Prince Charles would be a nightmare.

      I think the Swiss system has a lot to offer, but usually colder countries tend to be better governed, especially the protestant ones.
